My most recent name crush. Thoughts, associations, opinions? Anything?
I have mixed feelings on [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. Some days I love it and on others I’m “me”. I think I should love it though, since my mom’s name is [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] and it would be a great way to honor her… but I can’t think of it as a name for my baby.
When I think [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] I think dark hair, tan skin, charming with a beautiful smile, intelligent, but also a strong character and temper.
My association would be mostly Middle-Eastern for some reason, even though I know it comes from Russian.
I think its cute! I always like to think of a girls name with the following criteria: Nickname, As a [name_m]Doctor[/name_m], and with the full name. Example: Nickname for [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]: [name_f]Nattie[/name_f] - cute. As a [name_m]Doctor[/name_m]: [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] Lastname: Works. and with fullname. I like to make sure the name works in an adult setting as a professional so they will be taken seriously, something like Dr. [name_f]Peach[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] might garner some hiccups for the child as an adult. [name_m]Just[/name_m] my opinion. I think [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is a nice name, kinda eastern European sounding which is kinda cool.

I love [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]-- it sounds great and the meaning (hope) is lovely. It’s a classic and elegant name. I know a teenager named [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and she loves her name.

Beautiful name. Sounds very European to me. I think Americans don’t pronounce it as dreamy as those in Europe would.
I think it’s a lovely name that underused. I would love to meet a little girl named [name_f]Nadia[/name_f].
The only negative associations are it’s similarity to “naughty” or “nada”, but that’s rather abstract.
I love it! A guy I went to high school with has a daughter named [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. She is seven and a little firecracker!
I like [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. To me she seems very sweet and very kind.
A little late here, but we named our [name_f]April[/name_f] baby [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. 
she has an older sister named [name_f]Mira[/name_f].
