Thoughts on name Lielle?

Thoughts on the name Lielle? Pronounced lee-elle. Hebrew for god gave me/my god.

I like Lielle but I much prefer the [name_f]Liel[/name_f] spelling.

I’ve never heard it, but it’s really pretty! I like the spelling Lielle, I think it looks feminine and matches the pronunciation. It’s unique but the sounds are familiar enough that it wouldn’t be shocking or confusing.

Really pretty name. Might be pronounced lye-elle for those like myself who are unfamiliar, but it’s pretty either way

It’s beautiful! I absolutely love it! It may very well make an appearance on my list! :purple_heart:

Lielle is nice! It’s not my favorite Hebrew name—I prefer [name_f]Liora[/name_f], [name_u]Tali[/name_u], or even [name_f]Luella[/name_f] more—but it’s certainly intriguing and I’ve always found it appealing. I think something like Lielle [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] or Lielle [name_f]Shoshana[/name_f] would be nice?

I agree with the others, though. I prefer [name_f]Liel[/name_f] and have never come across this spelling before? But it does seem more sweet and girly as opposed to strong and girly?

Either option is really nice, though. Good luck!

Lielle is very pretty! I prefer this spelling over [name_f]Liel[/name_f] because I think it makes the pronunciation more intuitive. I love how Lielle strikes a balance of sounding unique/a little different while still being completely wearable. It sounds quite fluid and vowel-heavy to me, so I like the idea of pairing it with a more consonant-heavy middle name.

Thank you all for the feedback! I’m surprised people think [name_f]Liel[/name_f] is more intuitive in terms of pronunciation, I always thought it would be mispronounced as [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] more than Lielle. I think we will still go with the spelling of Lielle but am still thinking about it

with [name_f]Liel[/name_f] i would pronounce it short and sharp, an exaggerated e sound and a sharp l at the end - similar to heel
with Lielle i would pronounce it with more emphasis on the elle sound - similar/rhymes to [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
to me Lielle is more appealing to the eye
