(Edit: it’s pronounced like Sadie but with a Z sound)

It’s just eh for me so I probably wouldn’t use it. Sounds a little too much like someone was trying to make [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] modern.

I actually know a [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] and I’ve always liked it! It’s bright, zippy, and spunky. I think it’s a great alternative to [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] for parents who might want something a little less common or popular. They will have to correct spelling and pronunciation a lot but honestly I have to do that and you do get used to it! It’s sometimes a fun conversation starter

This was my little sister’s almost-name, so I really like it and it totally makes me think of her! A crazy, kind-hearted, wild kid. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It has a very y2k vibe to me! She feels preppy and sweet, and maybe kind of American. I don’t mind it, but I prefer [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]. I find that it has a cozier vibe which I like more!

Love Zadie - sharp, sassy, sweet but strong. It’s got the literary vibes from Zadie Smith but is also fresh and distinctive. Apparently I just like Sarah variants though, so :person_shrugging: If my favourite name of all times wasn’t a Sarah variant, Zadie would rank higher on my list!

Zadie Robin
