I’m expanding my girls list, although we’re pregnant with a boy, [name]Elliot[/name]. I wanted opinions on the name in general and ideas for middle names. I wanted to use the name [name]Corinne[/name], to honor my mother. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]? Yay or nay?
[name]Corinne[/name] is so beautiful…I would totally use it in the fn spot over [name]Nora[/name] but that’s just me!
[name]Nora[/name] is nice but feels less complete than [name]Eleanor[/name] or Honorra or [name]Lenore[/name]. [name]Norah[/name] somehow feels more complete to me with the h.
I love [name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]! It’s a very distinctive and pretty combo!!! I say, yes!!
I love [name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name], especially paired with the boys name [name]Elliot[/name]. It feels like a wonderful [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] sibset.
- [name]Athena[/name]
[name]Love[/name] it. I personally like the look of the [name]Norah[/name] spelling, but [name]Nora[/name] is great too.
I love [name]Nora[/name], it is only second to [name]Eliza[/name] on my girl’s list. Unfortunately my husband does not share this love.
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is sweet and unexpected, and goes well with [name]Eliot[/name]. I think [name]Nora[/name] sounds perfectly fine as a full name too.
[name]Corinne[/name] is great but I really dislike [name]Nora[/name]. I see her as a plain jane, and like a dog with gnawing on a bone, but if you choose [name]Eliana[/name] or [name]Eliora[/name] then that would be really pretty.
I like [name]Corinne[/name] in the first name spot.
I like [name]Nora[/name]. It has a certain sleekness like a sheath dress to me. It makes me think of [name]Art[/name] Deco architecture, doubtlessly because of the [name]Nick[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] mysteries.
I don’t like [name]Norah[/name] at all. The h cheapens it to me. It’s not traditional and it looks apologetic, like you thought [name]Nora[/name] wasn’t enough. I only like silent h’s on the ends of names where they are traditional, [name]Sarah[/name]/[name]Leah[/name]/[name]Deborah[/name] etc. and not just sprinkled around wherever.
[name]Nora[/name] has a very simple feel to me, like [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Emma[/name], that is appealing. (More so than [name]Emma[/name] actually).
I don’t mind [name]Leonora[/name] but I don’t care for [name]Eleanor[/name]/[name]Elinor[/name].
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is beautiful, and I can so imagine siblings named [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Nora[/name]!
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Amelie[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] is stunning, it’s a beautiful name. I know one and she is the most beautiful girl you could ever dream of meeting.
And [name]Nora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is a lovely combo, it would be great with sister [name]Charlotte[/name] and brother [name]Elliot[/name]. I’m getting a [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name]/[name]Thomas[/name] [name]Hardy[/name]/[name]Charles[/name] Dickens feel from your names…
I love the name [name]Nora[/name]. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Willow[/name]!
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Corrine[/name] is okay.
I also prefer the [name]Norah[/name] spelling, but lovely either way!
Thank you so much for all of your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! I don’t care for the [name]Norah[/name] spelling, I agree, it looks apologetic, like [name]Nora[/name] isn’t enough. [name]Corinne[/name] I know I would keep in the middle name spot, I wouldn’t use it as a first name because we already have a [name]Charlotte[/name] and the double C’s would annoy me.
Thanks again!!
I love this combo even though I am not fond of [name]Nora[/name].
