I discovered upon [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] while looking for nature names. I like that it looks like a combination of [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] and [name_m]Leander[/name_m]. It’s pronounced O-Lee-Ander.
It sounds like a handsome name to me but I’m afraid others might think it’s too out there. Could you see it with potential brothers [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u]?
I love [name_u]Oleander[/name_u], and I don’t think it’s too out there. I think it’s refreshing and handsome! [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_u]Callum[/name_u] and [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] make a lovely sibset. (I love the nicknames [name_u]Dash[/name_u], [name_u]Cal[/name_u] and Ollie!)
I don’t think it’s too out there at all, it shares sounds with the more common [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], after all.
I can see it well with [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u].
I love the sound of it! The plant is poisonous, which I only mention in case that’s important to you. I love the name.

It’s a beautiful word like [name_m]Leander[/name_m] or meander, but the plant is so deadly poisonous, that I couldn’t use it myself.
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is gorgeous and earthy! I like how it feels familiar yet also distinctive. I can see it with [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] sounds beautiful and romantic on a boy. The plant may be poisionous, but it is most certainly beautiful and [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] as a name gives me sort of a cottagecore/ lake in a forest kind of imagery. It’s a good alternative to [name_m]Leander[/name_m], [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] or [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], imo.
Unfortunately I don’t think it flows well together with [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u], both of which seem a lot more modern and on-trend compared to [name_u]Oleander[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] for a boy, I much prefer it to [name_u]Oliver[/name_u]. For me it feels like a more useable Olivander. Although it’s meaning in floriography is beware which makes it slightly less nice of a name, but I definitely think it’s useable and should be used more
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is very handsome, I really like it! Not too out there at all imo. I can really see it with [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u]! It has the same groundedness and I love how they all share an ‘L’.
We have very similar taste because [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is probably my all time top name, and I love it with siblings [name_m]Dashiel[/name_m] and [name_u]Calloway[/name_u]. I think it’s a fantastic name that’s super usable. I kind of like that it’s a poisonos plant because I don’t want the name to get too popular, and I hope those meanings prevent it from getting too popular
