Concur re [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] would be wonderful together. Both vintage but distinct. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be my top combo, but if it has to be a [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variant then [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_u]Rosamel[/name_u]. From OP options, [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] would be gorgeous (with the āeenā sound, not the āeye-nā sound)
I also love [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

And as a person who used a ānicknameā for my daughterās first name, I can say that it is perfect for her and very pleasing to just have her formal name be the thing we call her. For us, it would have been odd to have her formal documents all say a different name than the one that we truly love, that fits her identity, that we want the world to know her as. Especially if that name had been a different initial, too: we have a wooden A in her room, and we like her monogram, and if that had been a set of initials that didnāt include the one that symbolizes her ānicknameā, it wouldāve felt like a different identity (to us). I just wanted to give you that feedback in case it helps you adjust your thinking on names like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Nell[/name_f], and [name_f]Etta[/name_f] (which are all so sweet exactly the way they are).
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
If you like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], and need a longer form of [name_f]Etta[/name_f], what about [name_f]Coretta[/name_f]?
[name_f]Coretta[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is amazing!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are probably [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Audra[/name_f]. They both sound so sleek with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites from your list are:
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - full name [name_f]Odette[/name_f]? [name_f]Grace[/name_f] & [name_f]Odette[/name_f] sound lovely, or how about [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]?
[name_f]Nell[/name_f] - love this on its own, but understand itās more of a nickname. Ideas - really anything that starts with āElā, the obvious is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], I also like Elodie; other ides: [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Nephele[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u] - underappreciated name imo, and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] & [name_u]June[/name_u] are lovely together
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - love this as a nickname, with you that it doesnāt seem like a full name; ideas: [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - love this; [name_f]Grace[/name_f] & [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] are beautiful together and suggesting [name_u]Billie[/name_u] as a nickname idea!
Iām personally not too keen on [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], or [name_f]Vera[/name_f] but I think they go nicely with [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favourites:
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] & [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] & [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts on your list:
Blair-I think that this makes total sense with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Itās short and sleek and feminine enough but not frilly. Itās easy to say and spell and not at all common. That being said, itās not my personal cup of tea. It just feels like a snobby girl, but that may just be my issue.
Ruth-This is lovely. All of the same qualities of [name_u]Blair[/name_u] but sweeter and even more classic. The nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] is easy and adorable as well. I donāt mind the alliteration of [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] with a āRoseā mn. [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] for example would be super cute.
Etta-I like it. Itās different and vintage. I donāt like saying it out loud, because I feel like you have to specifically try hard to pronounce the 'tās and itās kind of awkward. This may just be me. I agree that it feels nick-name-y, but I donāt know what it feels natural as a nn for. There are names that end in āetteā like [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] or [name_f]Colette[/name_f] that almost make sense but still feel like a stretch. And then thereās [name_f]Estella[/name_f] maybe? [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] makes the most sense if you like that.
Nell-I am head over heels for [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] and somehow donāt like how bland just [name_f]Nell[/name_f] sounds. I appreciate it though that itās simple and sleek and goes well with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] as a full name. If you want something a little fancier, maybe [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]?
Pearl-Love love love it. [name_u]Perfect[/name_u] with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and just retro and elegant and glamorous. [name_m]Easy[/name_m] and well known but not popular.
Frances-Very cute. I like it with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Itās another one thatās not complicated but not popular. And the nns [name_f]Francie[/name_f] and [name_f]Franny[/name_f] are adorable. [name_f]Frances[/name_f] sounds smart and bookish, but then it has the spunkier built it nns.
Mara-I think that itās fine, but it doesnāt sparkle. [name_m]Just[/name_m] feels a little meh. But itās not unpleasant.
June-Super cute and perfect with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. It has the same sleek, slightly retro calm and put together vibe with the spunky nn of [name_f]Junie[/name_f].
Vera-I want to like this. I like it in theory, because of the vibe it gives. I just donāt like the sound for some reason.
Estelle-This is nice. Feels kind of serious, but itās pleasant and has cute nns. I prefer the fancier [name_f]Estella[/name_f].
Cora-I like it. Itās kind of like [name_f]Mara[/name_f] in sound, but it feels more vintage-y and lovable.
Irene-Not a fan of this one. Not sure why. It just seems dated and not pleasing to the ear.
Corinne-Same as above, and I canāt figure out how to pronounce it.
Audra-I like it. Itās different but simple. Smart and feminine without being frilly. Less common than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but I think that [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is prettier and better with [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
Tessa-Love this. Really I love just [name_f]Tess[/name_f], but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is good. Sporty and spunky and easy but not over done.
Winnie-Super adorable. I love [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]. I think that itās too cutesy on its own also. [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] maybe? Then thereās [name_f]Anwen[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_f]Branwen[/name_f], [name_f]Ceridwen[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] & [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] too.
Gemma-Very pretty and simple and charming. I like it with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] a lot.
Blythe-I like how this is different and one syllable like [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I just donāt like saying it out loud that much.
Cecile-Hm. I really like [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] & [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. This doesnāt sound as pretty for some reason.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] my rambling helps.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilibet[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Arietta[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
Ooo I love [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
I view [name_f]Etta[/name_f] as a fullname. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is lovely
