Thoughts on PJ and Charlie?

I have recently fell in love with the names [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (PJ) and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u]) and am wondering what y’all thought about them?

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] are lovely combinations, and go well together stylistically. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is a common nickname for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] so definitely works, but PJ doesn’t really work as a nickname for me since it’s a common acronym for pajamas. Maybe you would like [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Nell[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nickname?

I would assume PJ and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] were brothers, but I do like the full names. Especially [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

All names are classic timeless choices. PJ does not bother me, but I admit I also thought, like @maimouse, that PJ and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] sounded like brother’s. I guess if people would know them, it wouldn’t be a problem otherwise there might be some surprise.

I wouldn’t go with PJ and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] together because those were the names of siblings on the show Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. That said, [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a beautiful combo. For [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]” [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] the nickname [name_f]Char[/name_f] appeals more to me and I personally prefer the spelling [name_f]Lea[/name_f] or [name_u]Lee[/name_u] for the mn, but I love the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]~

All I thought of was Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], and I must’ve last watched that show at least 3 years ago. I don’t see an issue with the names themselves but the two of them together just reminds me of the Disney show.

I think of Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. Not a bad show, I really enjoyed it, but since PJ was a boy and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] was a girl, I wouldn’t consider it myself. Of course, the show ended a while ago so future children wouldn’t make the connection but I made it right away.
