Thoughts on the name [name_f]Plum[/name_f]? Probably as a middle, as it is a bit odd as a first name, but I think it’s really pretty none the less.

I love it as a surprising middle name for a classic like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]

It’s very sweet in the middle spot. Someone I follow on Instagram has a [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], which I think is just divine.
I like it, even as a first name! I’d definitely put something classic in the middle though, like [name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
It’s great as a cute and quirky middle, too. I’d probably pair it with a more serious, maybe even slightly clunky, first name in that case: [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]…

Plum is so cute and makes me think of the [name_f]Sugar[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Fairy[/name_f] from The Nutcracker. I think I’d only use it as a middle name or nickname though, but that’s just my taste.
@katinka 's suggestion of [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] is just the cutest!

I’m a big fan of it as a middle! Think it works with a wide range of firsts but my favourites are the longer continental European ones: [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], etc. I also have a soft spot for [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] but I recognise it’s a little saccharine with the alliteration and all

I like it as a nickname for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] (from the [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] plum) but it also makes for a cute middle name.

I’m not a fan. It works better as a middle name but I just can’t wrap my head around it as a name. I prefer [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], which is a type of plum.
