Hubby mentioned the name [name_u]Porter[/name_u] the other day. I never considered before, but I’m intrigued. What do you think? We’re also considering [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] and [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]. Our daughter’s name is [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
Hmm, I don’t love [name_u]Porter[/name_u] if I’m honest. It just doesn’t have an appealing sound to me, I’m afraid. [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is great though
I don’t love [name_u]Porter[/name_u].
[name_u]Ezra[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] sound really good together though, especially since both of them have a z!
It’s ok, but I think I prefer [name_u]Parker[/name_u]! a little brighter.
I like the way you described the “brighteness” of [name_u]Parker[/name_u]!
Agreed with the others though. [name_u]Porter[/name_u] feels dark. What do you like about it?
I’m not sure if I do like it tbh, I just never considered it as a name and wanted to feel it out.
Honestly, not sure if [name_u]Porter[/name_u] or [name_u]Parker[/name_u] go well with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u].
I think steak! As in Porterhouse? It also makes me think of large things like portly… I’m sorry! I do think it’s a cool name in a way. Very like [name_u]Parker[/name_u] but more masculine.
Ha!! Well now I do too!
There’s a kid on my kids baseball team named [name_u]Porter[/name_u]. It wouldn’t be my first choice but I never thought it was odd or anything. It reminds me of beer/wine.
I do much prefer [name_u]Parker[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Porter[/name_u] is okay. I love [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]!
I don’t love the name [name_u]Porter[/name_u]. However if I met someone with that name I wouldn’t think I hate that name.
I think [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] sounds amazing with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u].
I actually really like [name_u]Porter[/name_u] ! To me it’s unexpected, but I love occupational/ surname names !
I think stylistically [name_m]Peter[/name_m] might fit what your looking for as a sibling to [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]
I like [name_u]Porter[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] would sound great together though!
I like [name_u]Porter[/name_u]! I think it’s not as often heard as other on trend -er names. It has a vintage vibe to me, but only because there was a gentleman that worked with my dad and was easily my grandparents age named [name_u]Porter[/name_u]. I knew him my whole life, so [name_u]Porter[/name_u] has always had that feel to me. I actually know a little [name_u]Porter[/name_u] too that is maybe 6, that was named after the first one. I think it works perfect with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and agree with the others that [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] does too, especially with the z tie. Congrats!
I don’t think it matches your daughters stylish yet traditional name; it sounds more like one of those fad, 1990s names that will sound very out of date in a few years, while your daughter’s name is timeless. I think [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is the best of the three in terms of matching
Another vote for [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]
When I see or hear the name [name_u]Porter[/name_u] it makes me think of the late country singer [name_u]Porter[/name_u] Wagoner
I like [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] best with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] but [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] [name_u]Porter[/name_u] has a nice ring to it
I like [name_u]Porter[/name_u]! Personally I think [name_u]Porter[/name_u] (or even Palmer) are refreshing choices up against more common names like Parker/Peter/etc.
I also think [name_u]Porter[/name_u] goes well with [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] & [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] if you ever used them in the future.
I know a teenager named [name_u]Porter[/name_u] and an older gentleman named [name_u]Porter[/name_u]. It’s ok, not a bad name at all but for some reason, I just don’t like the sound of it. Reminds me of a sea port or kind of sounds like “porker” which is obviously not a great thing to hear. It’s probably just me though, there’s really nothing wrong with the name.
