It’s really cute!!!

I like it! It makes me think of plums because in Italian they are called “prugne”. I find it fresh, summery and cheerful.

I suggest you some combos:

[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Prue[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] [name_f]Prue[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Prue[/name_f]
[name_f]Zephirine[/name_f] [name_f]Prue[/name_f]

I really like [name_f]Prue[/name_f]! She feels cool and unexpected, but also sweet, clunky-cute and vintage.

I don’t absolutely love it. The Australian TV show [name_f]Kath[/name_f] and [name_f]Kim[/name_f] didn’t help (with wannabe posh characters with really nasally accents, called [name_f]Prue[/name_f] and Trude). But I did know a lovely [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] growing up who we all called [name_f]Prue[/name_f] and there is something gentle and very friendly about the name.

I like Prue; it’s charming and gentle, soft but fun, a bit new (like [name_f]Rue[/name_f] or Blue), a bit vintage (Prudence, Pearl).

I had a tutor at uni called [name_f]Prue[/name_f] (she taught and wrote poetry - so it reminds me of poetry too

It’s cute! I think it’d need the right middle but is definitely doable.

Maybe [name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]?

makes me think of [name_f]Prue[/name_f] Halliwell from the Charmed series!! (she was super cool so no worries about any bad connotations) I believe her name was short for [name_f]Prudence[/name_f], which does feel a bit too far on the wrong side of the vintage name spectrum.

I think [name_f]Prue[/name_f] by itself works great though, maybe with something whimsy as a middle or a more understated classic?

[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]

I really like [name_f]Prue[/name_f], it’s incredibly sweet, charming and old fashioned.
A while ago I had a huge name crush on the full name [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] and I think it’s just stemmed from that for me :slightly_smiling_face:
Also! I love the naturey-herbal name [name_f]Rue[/name_f], that is similar too

I instantly associate it with the witchy TV show Charmed, although for me that’s not a bad thing. It’s very cute! [name_f]Prim[/name_f] is a similar option.

I want to love it. I think it sounds so sweet in theory, but wouldn’t use it for a baby as I think bullies would likely call her “prude”

I can only thinkg of Charmed when I hear the name. It’s cute!

I really like it, it’s on my list - but defs not as a first.

Sweet, nostalgic vintage name that feels unexpected and has pretty purple imagery

I really like [name_f]Prue[/name_f], I strongly dislike [name_f]Prudence[/name_f].

It makes me think of [name_f]Prune[/name_f] so i kind of picture wrinkles, but also I think of a nickname for [name_f]Prudence[/name_f]

I did consider naming my future daughter prudence and call her prue. Ended up as a name I love but will not be using — taking into consideration my husbands feelings about the name.
I first heard of the name from the show charmed.
Pure reminds me of names along the lines similar to faith, hope, precious, harmony, etc.
but also close to cadence, candace, constanza, etc.

I like [name_f]Prue[/name_f], but only as a nickname for [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] (which I quite like).
