I think it is a nice name. It is different, pronounceable, pretty…
[name_f]My[/name_f] cousins wife has that name- she is from central america I believe. So when I hear it I think of it being said with a spanish accent.
I like it very much.
I actually think it sounds classier, not trashier than [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]. I like the European flair it has!
[name_f]Raquel[/name_f] Welsh was hot
I like it. I know someone that has it has a middle name. I prefer [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] to [name_f]Rachel[/name_f].
It seems to me like the kind of name that you’d always need to be repeating and spelling out to people?
Thank you for all the replies! I think that’s the most replies I’ve ever gotten about a single name. Anyway, the positive/negative responses seem about even so I’m going to add it to my long list and see if I can convince my husband to change his mind. I did like the combo suggestion of [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] but out last name starts with an “G”, which unfortunately would make the initials RAG.
Spunky and fun, I think of [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] “[name_m]Rocky[/name_m]” [name_u]Blue[/name_u] from Disney’s Shake It Up. Her MN is [name_f]Oprah[/name_f] BTW.
Not that I’m suggesting that! XD
I prefer [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] over [name_f]Rachel[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce [name_f]Raquel[/name_f]? o:
Seems like a very intriguing name. [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is too common for my liking.
It’s rah-kell.
