Thoughts on Ruby?

Thoughts?

Bubbly, cute and stylish

I really like it! Makes me think she’d be bold and down to earth. It’s also vintage but I forget that because I don’t see it too often- I think maybe it hasn’t gotten it’s due and it would be nice to meet a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], not sure how popular it is. I’ve known only 2-3.

i love ruby! i might be biased because its my name but i get so many compliments on it and its also not too popular, I’ve only met a handful of rubys

I really like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] she’s such a sweet gemstone name that feels rich, warm and bubbly. I really like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it!

I love it. It would be on my shortlist if my husband didn’t dislike it! I find it really versatile - it feels smooth and elegant as well as bubbly and energetic. It’s brief but complete.

I love Ruby!! I know a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but it’s technically a nn for [name_f]Rubina[/name_f]. (Nobody calls her that though.)

With sweet nicknames [name_u]Rue[/name_u] or [name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is fun and playful but also sleek and cunning. I could see it on any number of people, with different ages and personalities

Super cute and spunky but will translate well into adulthood. Definitely popular but might be worth the dip into the top 100.

I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] but it does seem very common (I’m from Australia). For reference I know 6 aged between 4 and 18. It is a very versatile name which I can imagine on a person if any age. It feels vintage yet modern somehow. It’s a name that I envision on a sporty, bubbly sweet little girl.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is one of those names that isn’t my style at all, but I still have a soft spot for it. It’s spunky and sweet at the same time, and I love the nickname [name_u]Rue[/name_u].
I’m not in an [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking country though, and I don’t think I’ve ever met a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] in real life, so it doesn’t seem popular to me.

I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], it’s on my list if [name_u]Baby[/name_u] is a girl :two_hearts: It’s sweet and sassy sounding with just the right amount of sparkle to it. It’s very versatile imo.

I really like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and have for years! It’s actually one of the names that led me to Nameberry many years ago. I feel I hear that’s it on lists of popular or “up and coming” names, but the only [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] I know/knew in real life was my great aunt (Ruby [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - omg :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:), who was born in the 1920s. She had a twin sister named [name_f]Polly[/name_f], and neither of them ever married, and they were the fun/eccentric aunts to all of their nieces and nephews!

So I may be biased since it’s my name but I do actually really like my name! I think it’s really nice. My only problem is that it’s really popular. I’m in the UK and there are 10 Ruby’s in my year, sometimes I have 3 in one class and it can sometimes be really annoying. Still a lovely name though but watch the popularity!
