What do you think of [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]? What would you think if you met a little girl called [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]? How about an adult? Too nick namey, or solid choice?
definitely a solid choice. sadie totally works on a child or an adult.
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea, but it’s a lovely choice and works well on all ages imo!
I love it! I know a couple Sadies, ranging from elementary school age to 29 (?)
I’ve seen people saying all they can see is ‘sad’ and ‘die’ but I really like the name and it’s difficult to see that even when I try to… is everything okay with those guys?
I totally agree, even when I’ve then looked at the name after hearing that I’m like…I really have to try to see that
As a [name_f]Katie[/name_f] it does feel nicknamey. I don’t love it…
I really like it! It just has always bothered me that the first three letters spell SAD. But if not for that, it’s great!
I don’t like it. I have met tons of dogs with that name, but I just don’t like it for a person. I like the full name for it Sara/Sarah better.
i think that it does age well!
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] feels sweet but solid
I like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]! I think it can standalone, especially if anchored by strong middle
I think it’s a solid name, I love the –ie ending. I think if it was a –y ending it would be too nickname like. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
I love [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] but it’s not something we could personally use because I celebrity would have the same name.
I love the name [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]! I would be thrilled to meet a [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] of any age (I’ve met one or two).
I knew a [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] in high school, so she’d be around 27 now. I’ve also known a Sedi (pronounced the same), but I think that may have been short for a longer name (she was from [name_u]South[/name_u] Africa). I think [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] can work as a stand-alone name, but my preference is to use it as a nickname for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. I’m generally a fan of giving the full name for the nickname, and I think it’s more important when the nickname is mostly used as a dog name.
PS [name_f]My[/name_f] real name is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], and I’ve never gone by [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] in real life. I just use it for my internet name.
I like the name [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] even more than [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
Lots of positivity here!! Such a good sweet spot name I think, nice and easy to say and spell…I think it’s a gem
I think [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] is so sweet, and I definitely think it’s a solid name on its own. I can picture [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] on any age!
It is slightly nicknamey to me, but [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] is very sweet and old-school. I think it has the same warm, sweet feeling as [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], and the like.
