[name_m]Hi[/name_m], Berries. I have some questions I’d like to ask…
-
What are your general thoughts on the name [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]? What sort of vibes or imagery do you get from her?
-
Any particular associations you have? Negative or Positive?
-
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] or [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]? Why?
Thank you
I think it’s gorgeous! I did a play once with a girl named [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] (we were both teenagers at the time), and I thought it was beautiful. She went by a nickname, but since it’s already an uncommon name, I’ll keep that private. It was a stretchy one, though. I associate it with angels–nameberry says that’s not the meaning, but there is the word seraphim, so. It feels very graceful without feeling religious.

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is beautiful - elegant, powerful and bright! It feels glowy and golden! I like that it feels frilly and fancy but also has versatile nicknames! Sephie/Seffie, Saffie/Saphie, Raph, [name_m]Raffy[/name_m], Phee, [name_f]Fifi[/name_f], [name_f]Sia[/name_f], [name_f]Sera[/name_f], [name_f]Essie[/name_f] etc!

I think vaguely of angels and also [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] Pekkala
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] or [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]? Why?
I prefer the flow of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - it just flows more easily in this case to me and feels a little more separate from the word seraphim

I think it’s a beautiful name! I’ve also that heard [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_m]Garner[/name_m] has a daughter with this name - not a bad thing. It’s the only time I’ve heard it used. I like both variations! I think it all depends what middle name your pair them with.

[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts on [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
Honestly I think she’s absolutely stunning such a beautiful name has complete princess fairytale vibes and is so feminine with this melodic sound. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is beautiful
Only associate the name with [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_m]Garner[/name_m] & [name_m]Ben[/name_m] Affleck as they have a daughter called [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. I actually love their kiddos names!
I’m the queen of frilliness so of course love [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] more than [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]! I have [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] on my list

I love it. I get fantasy princess vibes. A little bit graceful/ballet but more raspberry pink and dark purple than the pastel shades that usually go with that imagery.
I think my only association is a cat in a [name_f]Barbie[/name_f] movie ([name_f]Princess[/name_f] and the Pauper maybe?) which a positive/neutral association.
I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] because I struggle to say [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] correctly. [name_f]My[/name_f] brain insists on putting the -a on the end even when its not there.

It’s a gorgeous name, though it feels a little too languidly beautiful, idealized, and angelic to me, like the heroine of a Victorian novel who’s all uncomplicated beauty and goodness. I prefer Seraphine—ending in a consonant grounds it more, I find. I also like [name_m]Seraphim[/name_m] as a middle name—Peter [name_m]Seraphim[/name_m] was on our list for a while for a boy.
