Sooo my partner and I are loving the name Soleia, meaning “sun” or “solar” in latin pronounced “So-lay-uh”
Our son’s name is Phoenix so there’s an obvious connection there between the two relating to the sun which we think is pretty cute.
That said, we also like the name Soraya and are looking for middle name suggestions for both Soleia and Soraya as well as any suggestions on different spellings for Soleia. The name comes from “Soleil” pronounced “So-LAY” which is beautiful itself I just wanted to play with the spelling and see if there was any other ways it could be spelled without butchering the name.
We’re also open to any & all name suggestions for our baby girl due November 8th! I’m super indecisive, I didn’t officially choose my sons whole name until I was signing the birth certificate after he was born in the hospital lol… I just want something that looks and sounds really pretty that’s somewhat unique without being too out there

Both [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] and [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] are STUNNING, especially with [name_m]Phoenix[/name_m]! I think [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] would be the most intuitive spelling of the name, but I suppose Solaya, Soleila, or Soleya could also work, but they might be more prone to mispronunciation.

Omg [name_m]Phoenix[/name_m] & [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] would be an adorable sibset, I love the sun/fire theme and I think [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] while i’ve never seen it before does have an intuitive pronunciation (at least for me) so I would keep that spelling as is!
[name_f]Soleia[/name_f] is absolutely stunning [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] is equally as beautiful but [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] just has that something extra for me… The only other way I could think to spell [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] without butchering it too much is Solaya but [name_f]Soleia[/name_f] looks nicer IMO.
