The name was recently brought to my attention, and I think it’s growing on me.
What are your thoughts on the name [name]Tanner[/name]?
I like it. It’s a name that will fit with his peers well without being incredibly common.
I quite like it but it’s defiantly a guilty pleasure name for me. I can imagine a celebrity using it and then it becoming really popular.
I think of someone who tans leather; a tanner. It’s an occupation to me rather than a name.
Hmmm, its ok. It always seemed like a watered down name to me. Plus I always think of “Full House”. I’m aging myself here.

It’s kind of boring to me, just another [name]Parker[/name]-[name]Porter[/name]-[name]Tyler[/name]-[name]Cooper[/name]-[name]Sawyer[/name]. I don’t particularly dislike it, but it’s not my thing. I tend not to like very many occupational names- I like [name]Archer[/name] and [name]Mercer[/name] for boys and [name]Harper[/name] for girls, but that’s about it. Nothing wrong with [name]Tanner[/name], though, just not for me.
I really dislike [name]Tanner[/name]. I don’t know why, but I have always thought it sounded like a dogs name? I’m not crazy about surname-names in general and I can’t get past the Full House association either. Plus I find it aesthetically boring.
