I am really in love with unisex names on boys. And I’m not talking about the [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Parker[/name_u] style names that are super common for boys, I’m talking ones that maybe lean to the feminine side, too.
My best friends are [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_m]Samson[/name_m] “[name_u]Sam[/name_u]”, [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u], [name_f]Jillian[/name_f], & [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] “[name_u]Jackie[/name_u].”
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] are all boys. So maybe that’s where I started to fall in love with unisex names for boys.
What are your thoughts on the names [name_u]Teagan[/name_u], [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Darby[/name_u], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] (this one as a middle), and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] for boys?
What are some good combos for them?
I currently have [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] & [name_u]Darby[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] on my list.
I like [name_u]Teagan[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Darby[/name_u], and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. I don’t much care for [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] or [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] myself. I would love to meet a boy named [name_u]Darby[/name_u], I like it much more on a boy than a girl.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] is all boy to me. It’s almost exclusively male outside of the US. I really like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy. I don’t particularly care for the other names. [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is great; [name_u]Rory[/name_u] gives [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] a punch of energy that I love.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] is ok, but [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] just reminds me of the douche actor. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]'s okay too. The others not so much. [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] are great boy names, especially [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. They’ll suit a boy at any age and are quite likable and classic.
i liek them all … but i think teagan and darby lean more towards girls if im honest… [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] is my sons middle name… its great and a friends son’s name she calls him ash…
I really like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]. I don’t even think of the actor when I hear the name [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is nice and the most unisex imo. [name_u]Darby[/name_u] is nms but ok. [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] is all girl to me, and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] feels very trendy and feminine with the lyn.
I like [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] !
@LilyCecilia : [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] Kutcher? I hadn’t even thought of him, haha. I think his popularity is dying down a bit, so by the time I have kids he’ll just be a has-been. Hopefully. haha. & yeah, but I can’t use those names because like I said, they’re my closest friends names, and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] is my brother. And [name_u]Jackie[/name_u]'s a girl, lol
@Bailibsmum : yeah, I know [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] especially is used mostly for girls nowadays, but I still love it
@emsky : I can’t see myself ever really using [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], just because it seems trendy, but I still like it. I can see the appeal for girls, but I think it’s much better on boys. I’m a big [name_m]Beckham[/name_m] fan though, so…haha
To me, [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] is a girl’s name (I associate it with “[name_u]Teagan[/name_u] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]”). [name_u]Darby[/name_u] is also feminine. I have never met a person with either name.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are very much unisex, but I have only met a male [name_u]Rory[/name_u] (I’ve met many female Morgans and only one male [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]).
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] seem pretty masculine to me even if they are rather unisex. I have never met a person with either name.
