[name_f]Frances[/name_f] -buttoned up and classy wirh it a bit of mischieviousness

[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - a bit unappealing to me on a girl, sorry. [name_f]Deenie[/name_f] or [name_f]Deanie[/name_f] would gmv, or [name_f]Sian[/name_f] perhaps

[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] -warm, fun and sweet

[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - I like this. It has feminine sounds but I enjoy how it isnā€™t frilly

[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] - I much prefer the [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] spelling as it looks more complete to me but itā€™s a fantastic, deep sounding name

[name_u]Tate[/name_u]- short, sweet and cool

[name_u]Beck[/name_u] - love it. Rough, tough and cute all at once

[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] -love the literary vibe and the sounds

@greyblue: thank you so much! I love your list! My favourites are [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u], [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u], [name_u]Darby[/name_u], [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] and [name_f]Cherry[/name_f]! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] is dated? I really like it.

I really like the suggestion of [name_u]Quincy[/name_u]. Some other names you might like:

[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_u]Tatum[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_u]Saylor[/name_u]
[name_u]Navy[/name_u]

[name_m]Crosby[/name_m]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_u]Vale[/name_u]

@erinbeth: [name_u]Love[/name_u] your suggestions! Thank you very much! My favourites from your list are [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_m]Cole[/name_m]! I especially love [name_m]Cole[/name_m]!

I donā€™t think [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] is dated - no more so than [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. In fact I think the new film of little women makes it feel more up to date

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u] - Cute as a nickname, wouldnā€™t use it as a full name.
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it! Classic, strong and with cute nicknames
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - This one doesnā€™t seem unisex to me, just male. It works as a nickname though, like [name_f]Danica[/name_f]/[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]/[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] called [name_u]Dean[/name_u].
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] - [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is so cute and spunky!
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - This is so common as a last name that I donā€™t think it works as a first name
[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] - For some reason [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] sounds really unattractive to me. Not sure why, just donā€™t like the sound at all. Thatā€™s my problem though, it doesnā€™t mean itā€™s bad. I dislike the lack of nicknames though.
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] - [name_u]Tate[/name_u] is cute and fun!
[name_u]Beck[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Beck[/name_u] for a girl. Again, prefer it as a nickname ([name_f]Becca[/name_f], [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], etc) but I think it works on its own
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], itā€™s so beautiful and sleek

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts:

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u]-I donā€™t mind this one for a girl. Itā€™s kind of cute & spunky. If it were me, Iā€™d use it as a nn for something for something more feminine. Not sure whatā€¦I knew a girl growing up named [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] who went by [name_f]Mikki[/name_f]. Iā€™ve also heard [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] or [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f] or something like that. Or [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] best.

[name_f]Frances[/name_f]-This is so sweet. This is one of the few names that I like for a boy or a girl, but I do prefer it for a girl. My husband loves [name_u]Francis[/name_u] for a boy. Itā€™s more popular for girls though, Iā€™m pretty sure. [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is kind of a fun nn too, but I personally love [name_f]Franny[/name_f] or [name_f]Francie[/name_f]. Or just [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is smart & kind with just the right amount of quirkiness.

[name_u]Dean[/name_u]-This one is pretty boyish to me. My really good friends, however, have a little girl named [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u]. She usually goes by [name_u]Abbie[/name_u], but her mom calls her ā€˜[name_f]Deenie[/name_f]ā€™ a lot, & itā€™s pretty adorable. So, [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] nn ā€˜[name_u]Deen/name_uā€™ is an option to consider.

[name_u]Sunny[/name_u]-This is sweet, but too nick-namey on its own for my taste. I like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sunny[/name_u].

[name_m]Miller[/name_m]-Meh, this one is too boyish. I love the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f], but [name_m]Miller[/name_m] just doesnā€™t sound pretty to me at all.

[name_u]Sloan[/name_u]-I really like this one. I prefer the [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] spelling. Itā€™s just the right amount of bold & sophisticated femininity, but itā€™s not at all frilly or fussy.

[name_u]Tate[/name_u]-[name_u]Tatum[/name_u] is generally used for a girl name, & even though this is not my style, I donā€™t really mind it for a girl that much. I donā€™t like [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], but this seems sleeker.

[name_u]Beck[/name_u]-I donā€™t care for this. It just reminds me of the show ā€˜Youā€™, which was a bit disturbing (even though I loved it!).

[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]-Iā€™m not sure why I canā€™t get into this one, but itā€™s not bad. [name_m]Just[/name_m] sounds sort of trendy to me, but itā€™s really not popular.

Here are a few ideas:

[name_f]Briar[/name_f]

[name_u]Kit[/name_u]

[name_u]Malin[/name_u]

[name_u]Skye[/name_u]

[name_f]Tess[/name_f]

[name_u]Wynn[/name_u]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u] - Not my favorite, but itā€™s fine. I know of a little girl called [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] (short for Mickayla). But the name is strongly tied to the Mouse. I donā€™t know if that bothers you or not, but that is the first thing I think of.
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] - A sweet and fresh choice with old-fashioned charm!
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - too masculine, imho
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] - Meh. I think itā€™s a little too cutesy and would work better as a nickname.
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - Nms, but if you like boy names for girls, this has got to be one of the best options Iā€™ve ever heard of! Definitely has a gentle, sweet sound that could work beautifully on a girl.
[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] - Honestly, it looks incomplete with out the ā€˜eā€™ on the end. But I generally think [name_u]Sloan/name_u is a fine choice.
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] - same as [name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_u]Beck[/name_u] - I prefer it for a boy, but definitely think it works well for a girl, too. [name_u]Truly[/name_u] unisex, imo.
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] - Definitely a stylish choice for a girl born today!

Most of these names seem very ā€œAmericanā€ to me. I donā€™t think names like [name_u]Tate[/name_u], [name_m]Miller[/name_m] or [name_u]Dean[/name_u] on girls would be received well in the UK. (Iā€™m not trying to say you shouldnā€™t use them ā€“ just this is my cultural perception.) I do like [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] though.

I would suggest:
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_u]Madigan[/name_u]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Greer[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u]
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_u]Justice[/name_u]
[name_u]Adair[/name_u]

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u] - It isnā€™t my personal style and I prefer it as a nickname.
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] - beautiful! And I love the nickname potential of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]!
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - I donā€™t care for it on any gender personally. Itā€™s okay though.
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] - I love it!! I havenā€™t decided if I feel itā€™s great as a given name but I do think it sounds pretty and I love the vibe.
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - itā€™s alright.
[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] - Apparently sloan is a brand of urinal pipes? Thatā€™s what my SO said when I asked his thoughts. And now I canā€™t unhear it, haha. Apparently itā€™s a popular urinal pipe brand as he says he sees it in a large number of restrooms so itā€™s very memorable.
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] - itā€™s alright, just NMS.
[name_u]Beck[/name_u] - I prefer it as a nickname, even for [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_m]Beckham[/name_m], idk.
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] - I like it!

I love [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] from your list.

[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] has this cool, vintage, unisex quality. I think of a girl in [name_u]London[/name_u], fashionable and ahead of her time.

I knew a [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] we called Becks and [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and I always thought it was so cute. Also [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_u]Beck[/name_u] from ā€œYouā€. Has a unique fun feel.

[name_f]Frances[/name_f] would be next. Classic, retro and I love [name_u]Fran[/name_u] as a NN.

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u]- ehhhhh. I think of [name_u]Mickey[/name_u], that mom in Toddlers and Tiaras and I cant un-see it.

@greyblue: I really like the connection with [name_m]Little[/name_m] women! Thanks!
@emmievis: Thanks for the comments and list! I love [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], [name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_m]Calloway[/name_m], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_u]Lou[/name_u], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_f]Noemi[/name_f], [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]!
@michellem: Thank you! Really really like [name_f]Briar[/name_f], [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]Skye[/name_u]! Also [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] is fab!
Elanorelle: Thanj you for your comments! I liked [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] cause of a movie i saw recently and has connection with a uncle I have named [name_u]Michael[/name_u] but I agree, its too tied to Mouse to use it as a stand alone.
@choupette: Thank you! Really love [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] from your list!

@evieweevils: Thanks for your comments! I didnt know that about [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] but its definitely something I should consider.
@jacquelinewinnie: Thank you for your comments! I put [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] off my list. [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_u]Beck[/name_u] was my inspiration haha. I loved that show!

I love [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u] for girls.

@auntayen24: thank you for your comment!

[name_u]Mickey[/name_u] - this is cute, but I do think Iā€™d use it as a nickname only. It could be short for [name_f]Michaela[/name_f], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], or [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]. Iā€™ve also heard of Mitchie before - Iā€™m not sure if it was a nickname but I thought it was cute!

[name_f]Frances[/name_f] - This feels quite plain if Iā€™m completely honest. I think sheā€™d make a sweet middle name for something feminine and frilly though. [name_u]Franky[/name_u] is a nice mix of [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] + [name_f]Frances[/name_f].

[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - I usually like boys names on girls but this one is very masculine to me. Maybe [name_f]Deana[/name_f], [name_f]Deanna[/name_f], or [name_f]Deanne[/name_f]?

[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] - This is also a little boring - itā€™s just a word to me. Whereas lots of word names feel pretty and exciting, this one just feels a bit lacking imo.

[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - Like [name_u]Dean[/name_u], this one is all boy. Itā€™s really handsome for a boy though!

[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] - Iā€™ve never understood the appeal of [name_u]Sloan[/name_u]/[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]. I just donā€™t find the sounds particularly attractive.

[name_u]Tate[/name_u] - I really like this one! I once met a little [name_u]Tate[/name_u], I was so pleasantly surprised!

[name_u]Beck[/name_u] - This one also feels strongly masculine, although I can see how you could get to [name_u]Beck[/name_u] from [name_f]Rebekah[/name_f], perhaps. [name_m]How[/name_m] about Bexley?

[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] - [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is so gorgeous! Sheā€™s sweet and spunky, and sheā€™s got that unisex vibe but something feminine about her too.

Apologies for the mostly negative feedbackā€¦you have some great names here, but others are just not my style!

I really like [name_m]Miller[/name_m] or [name_f]Frances[/name_f]!
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]/[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] for nicknames

[name_u]Tate[/name_u] is my favorite, I think itā€™s a lovely name, very sunny and cheerful. My next pick from your list would be [name_u]Sloan[/name_u]. I think itā€™s a charming, timeless name thatā€™s the perfect blend of sophisticated and rustic (which is contradictory, but still!).

I grew up with a [name_f]Deana[/name_f].currently crushing on the name Ames for a girl. Ames [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].
