To me [name_m]Ari[/name_m] strikes more feminine
I have a friend called [name_f]Arisha[/name_f]. I call her [name_f]Arisha[/name_f] but others call her [name_m]Ari[/name_m]
Yeah, is it because more girl names have [name_m]Ari[/name_m] in them, [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Ariella[/name_f], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] & [name_f]Arisha[/name_f]
I know it’s normally pronounced as R.E but I personally prefer Air-ee. With it as Air-ee, I like it better as a standalone name for a boy. But as R.E, I like it as a nickname for a girl named [name_f]Arianna[/name_f] (Are-ee-on-uh).
[name_m]Ari[/name_m] is a Hebrew name meaning “lion of God,” which I think makes it sound more masculine. Also, I’ve encountered some Jewish guys named [name_m]Ari[/name_m]. But, either way, I think it can work for a girl too!
