I love the name [name]Elodie[/name]; it’s one of my favorites! It’s not too close to [name]Melody[/name], I think.
I love the name [name]Elodie[/name]! I think it’s elegant yet sweet, and I’d love to hear it on a baby girl! It’s close to [name]Melody[/name] in sound, but it has an entirely different feel to me.

I agree with the pp. I love [name]Elodie[/name]! It was on our short list with our daughter. And I agree that while the sound is similar to [name]Melody[/name], the feel is completely different. [name]Melody[/name] is kind of dated and a word name, while [name]Elodie[/name] seems fresh, sweet and slightly exotic while still being familiar.
I love it. I think it’s really elegant and exotic without being uppity.
