I think it’s adorable. I have it down on one of my many name lists. It doesn’t fit my dd name style so I doubt I’d use it. But truly [name_m]Friday[/name_m] would be adorable for a girl in my opinion. We have [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] and [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] why not [name_m]Friday[/name_m]!

Absolutely adorable. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it as one of the ‘weekday names’. [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] is my favorite tho🤗

Ugh I feel the child would get annoyed quickly with TGIF references…. Something that could essentially be said anytime they walked into a room.

I love it, especially as it’s my favourite day of the week :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::yellow_heart:

It reminds me a lot of [name_m]Friday[/name_m] from [name_m]Robinson[/name_m] [name_m]Crusoe[/name_m] so it has a weird, uncomfortable slave dynamic to it for me. [name_m]Reading[/name_m] the other comments though, that doesn’t seem to be a prominent association, so more objectively, it is a cool and interesting name

I like it very much.

I like it, but only as a middle name. I read a book where the main character was called [name_m]Friday[/name_m] once.

I don’t care for it as a first name - I do like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] but [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] as a nickname is really intuitive there, or [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] or [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] for [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. “Fry” doesn’t sound very pleasing to my ear and I don’t know what else would be more likely to stick as a nickname.

I remember considering [name_m]Friday[/name_m] for my dog’s name and really liking it for that purpose - it feels cheery and festive. I like it OK as a middle name too, I just don’t think it lends itself as well to being a person’s first name.
