Thoughts on the name Levi?

I love the meaning of the name [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. It means to bring together…unity. This will be our first child and I can’t think of a better meaning than to have this child be the idea to be together.

I was wondering what everyone here think of the name [name_m]Levi[/name_m]? I just don’t like that it reminds people of levi jeans. Is the name acceptable by the general public? Like people wouldn’t make fun of it? Asking because I’ve never met a levi. Are there other names with the same meaning ? Thanks

I like [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. It pairs well with a variety of middle / last names as well. And the meaning is wonderful.

I really like [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. I have met a man with that name, and he didn’t have any problems with it. In fact, he liked it so much he gave the name to his own son.

Now trying to think of a middle name for my [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. Our last name is also 4 letters and ryhmes with shia (She-ah). Not weird to have four letters for both first and last name? Anyways trying to think of a middle name to blend in nicely with the first name. Kind of like [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] but not sure yet. Middle name not too long for the short first and last name?
