Thoughts on the name Liberty

Hello, Berries! What do you all think of the name Liberty for a girl? It’s actually an old family name. (My great x4 grandfather was named Liberty Independence. I kid you not. His brothers were named George Washington and Andrew Jackson and he had a daughter named America Catherine. My ancestors were apparently very patriotic people.) Anywho, I know it’s a little out there but I quite like it for a girl. I like the fact that it can be classified as a virtue name and I like the nickname Libby. Thoughts?

It’s not a name that I would personally use, but I think it’s usable. I actually like [name_f]Libby[/name_f] a lot more.

I think it’d be very well suited in the middle too.

I don’t love it personally but I do think it’s a good name, like the nickname [name_f]Libby[/name_f] (or Birdie), and LOVE the family connection. What fun ancestral names!
