Thoughts on the name Livi

So, I like the name Olivia but I hate how popular it is. Also I have a cousin called Olivia and I always shorten it to Liv/Livi. Which made me think. Livi is a really lovely name imo but it’s not very popular. Heard of and wearable but not overused. What are your thoughts on the name Livi for a girl?

I think [name_f]Livi[/name_f] is great

I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] by itself better than [name_f]Livi[/name_f] - somehow [name_f]Livi[/name_f] looks a bit more juvenile to me. I’d vote that you use [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and sometimes nickname her [name_f]Livi[/name_f].

I agree with you! Liv is a great choice.

I love just [name_f]Livi[/name_f]! I prefer the spellings [name_f]Livie[/name_f] or [name_f]Livvy[/name_f] though because they look more complete to me. I also know a girl named [name_f]Livia[/name_f] but maybe that’s too close to your cousin.

I prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f], but [name_f]Livi[/name_f] is quite cute. Definitely refreshing to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].

I like it a lot! Though, [name_f]Livia[/name_f] is actually my favorite form of the [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] family of names

To me it doesn’t seem complete as its own name.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I love [name_f]Livi[/name_f], but prefer [name_f]Livy[/name_f]. Either way, it does seem a tad nick-name-y on its own. I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f], but I really really love [name_f]Olive[/name_f]! You could also do [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] or [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] nn Livi/Livy.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I love it! I think it can stand alone as a name just fine.

I like it as a nickname! But I personally feel that because of the sing-songy sound it’s too nicknamey as a full name by itself.
I reckon [name_f]Liv[/name_f] nn [name_f]Livi[/name_f] works well.

I personally have a nicknamey name which ends in an -i sound and I’ve always felt like it’s a little juvenile and wished for a classier version to put on CVs etc! But that’s just my opinion, others may not agree hehe

I think it would be adorable as a nickname, but not wearable as a stand-alone first name, imo.

I love the name Lavender!

LOVE [name_f]Livi[/name_f]! I have always spelt it [name_f]Livy[/name_f] (as a nickname for Olivia) but [name_f]Livi[/name_f] also looks beautiful. I do agree with the suggestion of naming her [name_f]Liv[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Livi[/name_f]. You may also be interested in Livity or [name_f]Livia[/name_f] as longer versions, but I personally prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:.
