Falling in love with the name [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] but would like to know if it would be considered timeless or if it will be the new [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] or [name_f]Karen[/name_f]
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is an absolutely gorgeous name!
I had a friend named [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] in high school, and she fit the name perfectly.
I wouldn’t say “timeless” is necessarily the right word, as I don’t think [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is well-known enough as a name to become as timeless as something like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. However, I definitely don’t think she’ll be dated at any point in time, as her unique sound & lovely meaning stand out in the best way.
Absolutely love [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] ![]()
I think [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is lovely she feels bright, summery and warm with a majestic ethereal flair. I have a friend who absolutely loves [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] so I really associate with her.
Personally I do not see [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] as a timeless choice she feels like an upcoming word name choice with an international flair. However I do not see [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] as the next [name_f]Karen[/name_f].
It is not timeless, but I would expect Soleil’s parents to be going for the nature connection rather than timelessness. [name_m]The[/name_m] next [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] or [name_f]Karen[/name_f] is a huge exaggeration. Names don’t reach that level of popularity anymore.
Agreeing with this sentiment! [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] isn’t widespread enough to be considered timeless, but that same level of popularity will keep it from becoming associated with a certain time period or generation I think.
I can’t imagine how that would be the case. I think [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is ranked #824 - even if she jumped over 800 spots she won’t be used nearly as much as [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] was. Have you seen a lot of birth announcements or other sightings of [name_f]Soleil[/name_f], that makes her feel popular to you?
For what it’s worth I think [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is a gorgeous name, and I would say timeless too.
It definitely feels more modern than timeless, but I don’t think it’s popular enough to become dated either.
I think it’s pretty. To me it feels modern rather than timeless, but few names are truly timeless.
I can’t see it reaching a level of popularity comparable to [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] or [name_f]Karen[/name_f] in the 1970s because the name pool is so much more diverse nowadays.
I love it. Makes me think of Punky [name_m]Brewster[/name_m] ![]()
