[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! I wrote in yesterday about how my husband and I have been talking for months about names and cannot agree on anything. We received a lot of good feedback, so thank you!
Suddenly today, without even looking, I came across the name [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]. I absolutely love the meaning (fair, blessed, friend) since we are both fair, etc and it’s unique enough for my husband to appreciate it. I think this name also sounds great with my daughter [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Linn[/name_f]éa and [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
What do you guys think? Did we find a winner? What impression do you get when you hear/see this name? Does it sound too feminine and soft? Does it go well with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]? Any other thoughts?
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u] isn’t very substantial enough on its own and I find it a bit girly. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] however would sound lovely with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
I think it could work as a middle, but on its own it seems more like a nickname although I do think it could grow on me. I don’t find it feminine at all. If you really love it, then go for it!
I like [name_u]Wynn[/name_u], I think it’s a strong name and can stand on it’s own. I don’t think it’s too feminine although the spelling [name_u]Wyn[/name_u] makes it look even more masculine to me. [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] sound very nice together!
Yes, your names go perfectly together! However, I like the flow of [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] better than [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
hmm. I don’t like one syllable names a whole lot, and [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] reminds me of a nickname for a name like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]… I wouldn’t use it, although [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] do sound nice together.
I think [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] is handsome. I also really like it with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. They both end in a double letter, which is a subtle connection too.
