I came up with these two combos on a whim, but actually really like them, and I am wondering how usable they are?
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (said like [name_m]Arrow[/name_m])
I know [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] gets a ton of usage for a girl, but my first encounter with a [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] was a boy, and I love the adventurous [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] association to give [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] a bit of a swashbuckling nature. And I just love how equally adventurous and cuddly [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is!
Thanks, Berries!
I really like [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] but would prefer [name_m]Eero[/name_m] with something a little stronger (harder consonants).
I like [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] a lot.
The [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] spelling does look more boyish and I think it could be used on either, and with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], there’s such a great adventurous feel to the whole combo. It feels so outdoorsy!
I’m not sure on [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] at moment. I think it sounds great and I like the mix of off best [name_m]Eero[/name_m] and down to earth [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] but the spelling of [name_m]Eero[/name_m] puts me off slightly. I think it could probably grow on me though, since I like the sound
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is great. Not a fan of [name_m]Eero[/name_m].
I like [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] a lot!
I’ve never seen [name_m]Eero[/name_m] before and my first pronunciation thought was Ear-oh, but if it’s more common where you live then that wouldn’t a problem. I agree with PPs that it doesn’t flow super well with [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
Things I like with [name_m]Eero[/name_m]:
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
edit: double posted by mistake, sorry!
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] definitely does feel adventurous. I’m neutral on [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] but I would like to see it on a boy.
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] would definitely be mispronounced a lot, but I like it anyway. It makes me picture Dulles Airport, which was designed by [name_m]Eero[/name_m] Saarinen. So a very neutral association with vast, swoopy roofs. I’m sorry that’s not more helpful
[name_m]Eero[/name_m] is one of my favorite names, I think it’s so handsome. I really like [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (though I agree with other posters a different middle might sound slightly better)
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is also very handsome! I’ve never seen [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] used for a boy, and I love it. Especially paired with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
I agree, both combos are very sweet, cuddly, and adventurous!!
