I’ve been feeling a bit uninspired lately and decided to make new combos from my long list today. As usual, they’re an untamed mix of Finnish and [name_f]English[/name_f] (happy to explain/record the pronunciation of any that you’re interested in).
[name_f]Do[/name_f] any jump at you? Favourites/least favourites? Any you’d re-do? ([name_m]Don[/name_m]’t worry - I’m not married to any of these combos so don’t mind hearing your thoughts on your least favourites as well. Usability also isn’t a huge concern here - just testing things out for fun!)

Edwin [name_m]Aatos[/name_m]- I love [name_m]Edwin[/name_m]. I love [name_m]Aatos[/name_m] (though I love [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] a bit more!) I love how they look and sound together. I love this combo!
[name_u]Atlas[/name_u] [name_u]Henri[/name_u]- not the biggest [name_u]Henri[/name_u] fan. I love [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] and the combo is very nice, very striking. Overall I am a fan!
[name_m]Lukas[/name_m] Touko- I enjoy both names. Touko has such a cool sound! (The pronunciation I found was tow-keh, or something vaguely reminiscent of that. I’m not very good and writing out the sounds.) The flow is a little off though?
[name_m]Anton[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]- ooh, [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]! I like it! [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] isn’t what I would have thought to go with [name_m]Anton[/name_m], but I do like it a lot. [name_m]Anton[/name_m] is handsome.
[name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]- always been more of a [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] fan than an [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] fan but [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] is still a handsome, solid name. [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] isn’t really for me, sorry. The combo works well!
[name_m]Otso[/name_m] [name_m]Odin[/name_m]- I am completely an alliteration person and I love this combo! [name_m]Otso[/name_m] is 
and [name_m]Odin[/name_m] complements it perfectly.
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Iivo- This is my favorite so far! I love [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] so much and Iivo is so, so cool!
[name_m]Runo[/name_m] [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u]- nothing bad can be said about this combo. [name_m]Runo[/name_m] is adorable and [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u] grounds the combo very well. I love it!
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Ludovic[/name_m]- not a [name_m]Henry[/name_m] person but [name_m]Ludovic[/name_m] is so dashing! I like the combo.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_m]Armas[/name_m]- I adore [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and like [name_m]Armas[/name_m] but I’m not sure about the flow.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u]- it’s nice, and there’s nothing bad to say about the names, but it feels a bit lackluster next to gems like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Iivo and [name_m]Runo[/name_m] [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u]?

That’s so sweet of you to say! I’m always a bit hesitant to post about Finnish names here, to be honest.
@EllieWilbury Thank you for the detailed comments - I really appreciate it! I do agree with your thoughts on [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u]. (Both names have been hanging on my list for a long time because they’re really versatile/usable in Finnish and [name_f]English[/name_f] but eh. I’m not particularly in love with either of them which is probably why I stuck them together…).
I’ve been really crushing on Loviisa lately! I pronounce it LOH-vee-suh - it’s a Swedish form of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] originally (the Swedish spelling is [name_f]Lovisa[/name_f]) so I’m guessing there’s a few different international variations of it out there.

Here’s my top 3 for each gender,

- Elvi [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
For boys
- Runo [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u]
- Henry [name_m]Ludovic[/name_m]
- Nikolas [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]
The only ones I’m not totally crazy about are [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamim[/name_m] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. With [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] it just doesn’t quite feel as exciting as some of your other combinations, and [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] feels like a lot of ‘a’ sounds all very close together which messes with the flow I think.
