We’re looking for a name that is feminine but not frilly, classic, and simple.
We hope to find a name that will travel well, and be recognizable in a variety of countries.
The only other criteria are that the name is easy to pronounce (as our last name is not) and does not end in the “E” sound, for example, [name]Emily[/name].
To give you an idea of our naming style, here’s a list of names we like:
Your name list looks very similar to our short list for our girl names. My suggestion to you is my youngest daughter’s name, [name]Mira[/name] (pro. meera). It is feminine, phonetically beautiful and wonderful in its simplicity. It is widely known throughout Europe and also has sanskrit origins, so it is a very global name. [name]Norah[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Mira[/name] were on our short-list for her (that we take to delivery) and [name]Mira[/name] was a clear winner. I also [name]LOVE[/name] those 2 other names, though.
