Nevra - Turkish (my absolute favorite)
[name_f]Idelle[/name_f] - English (ie-[name_u]DEL[/name_u])
Eirlys - Welsh
Adeia - Greek (and perhaps African roots as well)
[name_f]Gioia[/name_f] - Italian (the Italian word for [name_f]Joy[/name_f])
Bodil - Scandinavian
[name_f]Nerys[/name_f] - Welsh[?] ("Perhaps an elaboration of Welsh ner “lord”, with the intended meaning of “lady”.)
I really like Nevra! It almost looks like Nerva, which is like a nn for [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]? Nevra. It’s really pretty.
[name_f]Idelle[/name_f] - yep, I like it! It’s like a fancy version of [name_f]Ida[/name_f]. I’m all over that.
Eirlys - I’ve never heard it before.
Adeia - terrific sounding name. Close to [name_f]Aida[/name_f], but actually I like it better.
[name_f]Gioia[/name_f] - I’m familiar with the word, but I’ve never come across anyone with the name. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this. I’m currently crushing on [name_f]Giada[/name_f], too.
Bodil - this is a great name.
[name_f]Nerys[/name_f] - I’ve heard it before but don’t recall wear (tv?) I like it. Fits in with the old lady trend, but prettier than [name_f]Gladys[/name_f].
I actually know a lady named [name_f]Gioia[/name_f]! (Pronounced [name_f]Joy[/name_f]-ah or [name_f]Joy[/name_f]-uh). She’s the only one I’ve ever heard with that name, so I automatically think of a 50 year old woman, but it’s still a very pretty name.
Nevra - I have never heard it before but it is somewhat usable.
[name_f]Idelle[/name_f] - I like it but I would pronounce it as I-delle. Usable though I have never heard it before.
Eirlys - I have never heard it before, I don’t know how to pronounce it and it is not usable.
Adeia - I like it but I have never heard it before. Usable.
[name_f]Gioia[/name_f] - I have never heard of it before. I don’t know how to pronounce it. Not usable.
Bodil - seems masculine. Not at all usable.
[name_f]Nerys[/name_f] - Reminds me of Naerys Targaryen from ASOIAF. I wouldn’t use it.
