Thoughts on this combo?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone.

It’s my first time posting a thread so hopefully I’m doing this right. I’m not pregnant and don’t plan on it for a while, but I’m really liking the name [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] lately. But if I ever have a daughter her middle name will for sure be [name_f]Joy[/name_f], and I’m not sure about [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] though. Is [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] too… happy? Wordy? Or is it okay? I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks so much!

Whilst I do love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], I think that [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is very wordy and a bit redundant. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] already means ‘intense happiness’, which makes [name_f]Joy[/name_f], which also means happiness, feel quite redundant and unnecessary.

From your signature, I think [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is especially pretty!

Yeah, I would avoid [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for the same reasons as PP. It’s sort of like naming a kid [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - it doesn’t sound bad or anything, it’s just redundant/basically the same name twice.

What about [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] , [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] , [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] or [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Joanne[/name_f]?

I don’t think it is bad and my first thought wasn’t the correlation.

It feels a bit redundant indeed, but there’s nothing like too much happiness. It’s a nice combo, it’s just if there’s a name you like more with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Joy[/name_f], I’d rather see them in different combos.
