Thoughts on Top 3?

After looking at what feels like every name in the world, there are only three that I can really see myself potentially using for my girl at this point, so I’m looking for any and all opinions, negative associations, silly rhyming words that may be annoying for her to put up with… ANYTHING.

Middle name will more than likely be Brynn. Last name Carver.

-Elena Brynn
Pronounced eh-LAYN-nuh; a little worried about lots of mispronunciation/misspelling but it seems like more people than not say it like this or close to this (I’m in the US) so maybe not a huge deal. I also like the nickname Laney.

-Anna Brynn
Classic, pretty, easy to spell and pronounce. Don’t know that I LOVE the initials being ABC. lol. But that’s such a silly, tiny thing I wouldn’t let it stop me. I guess it’s kind of fun, really.

-Tessa Brynn
This was kind of a late bloomer on my list. Do two “hard” sounds with T and B together sound okay, especially with a hard C last name, or would a softer sound for the first like with Elena and Anna sound better?

These are great, the three of them together make a good sibset

I like the sound of [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] the best followed by [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and then [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is the most interesting! It’s not overly common but it’s familiar, it’s versatile and fun with the nickname [name_u]Laney[/name_u]! I honestly think you can’t go wrong with any of them and don’t see anything problematic :raised_hands:

Between [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] I can’t decide!
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is so classic and beautiful while [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is more unexpected yet still classic.

I know so many people love Elena/Alaina/Eliana
to me they don’t feel substantial and all sort of blend together.

[name_u]Laney[/name_u] is very cute as well but from your options [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] are both fantastic!

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is my favorite of yours! I love the three syllables before the one-syllable MN, the flow is great. The names are super balanced and both beautiful individually as well. And there’s great nickname potential! [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_u]Lane[/name_u], [name_u]Laney[/name_u], etc. could all work.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]! I don’t think you need to worry about pronunciation for it. Other two are nice as well, [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_m]Carver[/name_m] sounds completely fine to me

I love [name_f]Elena[/name_f] Brynn!! It’s such a beautiful name

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is my favorite. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Such a charming classic! [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is second though, such a lovely one. I love [name_u]Laney[/name_u] as a nickname.

[name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] choices, you can’t go wrong!
I vote for [name_f]Anna[/name_f], as a personal favourite, but I think all are lovely

I love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] -warm, bubbly and sweet!!

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] nn [name_u]Laney[/name_u] is wonderful too

Let me start by saying, these are all completely beautiful, and you can’t go wrong!

I lean toward [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I love a classic. And the initials ABC are actually very endearing! [name_f]Anna[/name_f] has a beautiful meaning, too.

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is my second choice. I LOVE [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. I wish the meaning was a more positive thing.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] is the most “modern girl” name on your list, in my opinion. I do think it’s part of a trend group–I know more little girls with [name_f]El[/name_f]- names than anything else. One of them has this name, and one of them has a spelling variation. And then I know another girl who spells it [name_f]Alaina[/name_f]. If none of that bothers you, this is a great name with a great meaning.

They’re all lovely names, but my own favourite of the three is [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. I think that the hard T is easily softened with the S’s. It’s a great combo.

i really like all three, but i must say that my favourite is tessa brynn !

it sounds lovely to me - i don’t think the sounds are too harsh at all - and it has a sweet, classic, fun vibe. i would love to meet a young tessa, and i love the way it sounds with brynn !

Oh my goodness your top three names are all gorgeous!

I think they all are gorgeous classics and I like them for different reasons!

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] gives you a sweet nickname option
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is spelled the same way backwards, and I love the ABC initials
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] Is sweet without being overly common. [name_m]Easy[/name_m] to recognize and spell

I love longer names with nicknames so I will vote for [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]

my favourite is [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]!

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is so classic, elegant and timeless. She’s universal therefore the likelihood of pronunciation issues which is your main concern with [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is really slim. I also love the ABC initials how fun is that?! [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is stunning!

Good luck

Oh this is a hard choice because all three are really great choices.
I think [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is my personal favorite—mostly just for the sound of it, but I also think it hits a familiar but not overused spot that I tend to appreciate in names!

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is timeless and classic, and—something I really like about it—completely international. I also like that it’s the same forwards and backwards (totally random, but visually appealing to me!). Personally I think ABC are great initials, memorable but not embarrassing! I haven’t looked up the statistics, but I’m guessing this one is the most common of the three?

Finally [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is also a beautiful choice, and as the only three syllable name on your list, a bit “softer” to my ears. I think thanks to the Disney show you’re likely to get mostly your desired pronunciation, but it is the only name on your list that has the possibility of mispronunciation. If you want nicknames, both [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_u]Laney[/name_u] would come naturally. In my case I tend to prefer names that are unlikely to be shortened, but I know nicknames can be a “bonus” for those who like them!

[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
I say it Eh-LEN-uh (Northern California), but if I knew it to be pronounced differently, I would change it. It’s a fine name, but I am meeting a lot of young girls named [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], [name_f]Eliora[/name_f], etc. [name_u]Laney[/name_u] is cute.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
Seems fine. I prefer [name_u]Anne[/name_u], but that’s just me.

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
Sounds fine with [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Tressa[/name_f] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f], but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is fine.

I really think anyone of them would be fine.

Anna is my favorite of the three, and I actually love the ABC initials! Elena is also beautiful.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] for me.

The only one I’d nix would be [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I think with names like [name_f]Avalynn[/name_f] and [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f] being the trend these days [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] seems to mesh into one another.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] is my favorite by far!

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is my favorite. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is sweet and timeless and I actually love the ABC thing. Like someone else said, memorable but not problematic!

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] would be my second pick. I personally prefer [name_f]Tess[/name_f], but that wouldn’t work with [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. I think she’s at a sweet spot popularity-wise and I like the meaning.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] sounds nice with the middle and last name, but it’s honestly pretty meh to me. I lump it in with all the similar [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Alayna[/name_f], [name_f]Alanna[/name_f], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], etc names. They’re so ubiquitous right now that they’ve lost their shine a bit for me. But that being said, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this name and if it’s your favorite go for it! I just prefer the other two.
