Thoughts on Victoria?

I want to use [name]Victoria[/name] in memory of my mom. [name]Do[/name] you prefer [name]Victoria[/name] as a first or middle name? What names on my list sound the best with [name]Victoria[/name]?

I think [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is beautiful!

I like [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hope[/name]!!

[name]Victoria[/name] is a beautiful name, as are many of the names on your list. I think you have to decide whether or not you love it enough as a first name, or if you’d rather use a first name of your own and honor your Mom with [name]Victoria[/name] in the middle. Lots of the names on your list could work with [name]Victoria[/name] in either order.

My favorite combos from your list would be:
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Summer[/name]
[name]Simone[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

If you’re open to using two middle names, you have even more options . . .

I agree that you need to decide if you want it in first or middle position. I think [name]Victoria[/name] is a beautiful name, and with such a lovely association I would use it as a first (although it also makes a versatile middle if you have another name you really love).

As a first, from your list my favourites are:
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] ([name]LOVE[/name]!)
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hadley[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] (amending your option slightly)
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Simone[/name]

As a middle, my favourites:
[name]Ava[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Eva[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]

Good luck!

It’s a great name so I’m inclined to prefer it in the front but it would make a great and rather unexpected middle, too, since middles usually aren’t so stately. You have a great list of names here; the combos that stood out to me are:

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Simone[/name]

I really don’t care for any of the nicknames for [name]Victoria[/name] so its going in the middle spot.As of right now I’m leaning towards [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name],[name]Isabella[/name],[name]Olivia[/name],[name]Sophia[/name] as first names and my husband is leaning towards,[name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Jillian[/name](I only like the [name]Gillian[/name] spelling but he won’t budge).

If it helps, one of my best friends is named [name]Victoria[/name], and she has never gone by a nickname. I’m pretty sure that by junior high, she had perfected the “I can’t believe you just called me [name]Vicki[/name]” death stare.

[name]Hi[/name]! From your list, I really like:

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Simone[/name]
(I love [name]Rose[/name], but because it’s the most popular middle name, it feels like a filler to me…)

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] (I love [name]Rose[/name] as a first name)
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Jane[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]

I’d personally avoid middles beginning with vowels with [name]Victoria[/name] as a first name.

I think that [name]Victoria[/name] is beautiful, and while I do know one [name]Victoria[/name] who has never had a nickname, you may want to keep it in the middle if the [name]Vicki[/name] nickname is an issue for you. (It may not be an issue, but I thought I’d mention it just in case.) I’m really sorry that your mom died, and I think it’s so lovely that you’ll be naming your baby girl after her.

More [name]Victoria[/name] combos:

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] (it means “free spirit, happy, and carefree,” which may be a good way to honor your mom if the attributes fit)
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Bess[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Violet[/name] (you could call her [name]Vivi[/name] instead of [name]Vicki[/name])
[name]Anne[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Esme[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] ([name]Esme[/name] means “beloved,” which could honor your mom)

Best wishes to you!
