Hello!
I recently came across [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and think it’s lovely, it goes well with our last name (similar to Showmen) and I love its meaning “little heart daughter of the sea”
What do you think?
Cordelia is beautiful! I think it provides a lot of really great nickname opportunities, as well as a spunky sense of femininity. Also, the meaning is just as lovely!
It’s definitely different than my recent favorites (more Greek leaning like [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]) but it slows much, better with our [name_f]English[/name_f]/German last. Name
Very pretty! I personally have it as a middle for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (so, [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f])
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is gorgeous!
(Also, @futuremama how long have you had [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] on your list?! Did I unintentionally get [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] from you?!)
I’ve had it on my list since 2016 (it was [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Cambria[/name_f] before that) - maybe, but all 3 names are pretty common on here so who’s to say [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is so pretty!
Cordelia is beyond gorgeous! I love that it’s Shakespearean, connected to the sea & has a timeless vibe. I’m also a fan of [name_f]Cordy[/name_f] as a nickname. I really love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
Cordelia is beautiful. I love the sound and meaning
I’ve never thought much about this name before actually but I love it, the meaning is beautiful and there’s something very wholesome and vintage about it that I find appealing. What would you use as nicknames?
Depending on her personality probably [name_f]Lia[/name_f] or [name_u]Cory[/name_u]! Could also be [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as well there’s a lot of choices with this name!
I think [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is very pretty! I like the Anne of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables connection.
I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], so unique but not something anyone would question imo.
It’s elegant and timeless. I’ve had [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] on my list for about a year now so maybe I’m biased haha. I also love [name_f]Cambria[/name_f]!
