Thoughts/Suggestions From Our Current List?

Back with some more name dreams! We’re doing IUI this month, so trying to pass the time and keep the hope by dreaming up more baby name ideas. All names would need to fit with older brother, [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. I’d love to know your favorites from our lists and/or any suggestions you have to add to it!

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]Girl's Name List[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- we love the meaning of “happy” or “good fortune”! I think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] match well together. Don’t love the fact that there isn’t an easy nickname for it. Is it too popular compared to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] the sound of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]! So many fun nickname options. Kind of a subtle nod to a family member who’s name also starts with De. I worry this is too popular of a name compared to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] though.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Honors a family member and I think it sounds beautiful! It feels like a different vibe than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] though? Again with not great nickname options.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Heidi[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- We love this name but our last name starts with Ha and is short. When you say it fast it sounds kind of like [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] Ho. This was one of our top choices until saying it out loud together. Is that enough reason to eliminate a name?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] the nickname ideas Ette/Etta but don’t love the nickname [name_f]Julie[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. Would that inevitably get used? Too closely tied to [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Colette[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Again, love the nickname potential with Etta/Etta. Find it a little hard to say? [name_m]Will[/name_m] we always be telling people it’s cuh-let vs co-let?

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]Boy's Names List[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Lennox[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]! Cute nickname ideas of [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] or even [name_m]Knox[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband keeps saying “like the computer”? Is this a common association that will come up a lot?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Felix[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- this was our runner up name for our son! I still love the meaning behind it and the name itself. However, I don’t love the way [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] look next to each other. [name_f]Do[/name_f] they match?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I think [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] look great together! It’s a fun name and not overly common here. However, not any easy nickname options. Is it too “out there” compared to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Cooper[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I think [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] are cute next to each other! However, [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] is very popular name here. Is [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] too common compared to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Lots of nickname options like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] or [name_m]Nate[/name_m]! I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] fit well together style wise. However, [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is a lot higher on the charts than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. Does it feel too popular to pair together?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]August[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Cute nickname ideas like [name_m]Gus[/name_m] or [name_m]Auggie[/name_m]! I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m] look cute together, but it has a very different feel to it? [name_m]August[/name_m] feels strongly tied to the month, is it still a useable name next to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Warren[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] look cute next to each other with the repeating middle letters! However, do they feel too similar both ending in N and having repeating letters?

[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]Girls (ranked in order of preference):[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – this is my absolute favorite from your girls’ list. I just ADORE [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] – they’re both grounded but whimsical & she’s got that familiar but not too popular sound (not sure where you’re located, but in the US [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] actually ranks higher than [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] for popularity: 339 vs. 486, so I wouldn’t worry about that). Nickname-wise, there’s so many that I love: [name_f]Fliss[/name_f], Flicka, [name_f]Flossie[/name_f], [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], [name_m]Fee[/name_m], [name_f]Effie[/name_f], Fel, [name_f]Lissa[/name_f], [name_f]Cece[/name_f], or [name_m]Flip[/name_m]!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Heidi[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – despite the slightly wonky flow with your last name, I just had to rank [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] second. She’s so spirited and bright, and I adore how she sounds with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. I’m not sure the [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] Ho would be too much of an issue, especially if you really love the name. Most times people won’t be saying it fast, & plus there’s always the middle name to break it up a bit more.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Delilah[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – I love Delilah’s gentle strength paired with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], as well as the subtle nod to your family member & all the adorable nickname options. However, [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is just on the cusp of the top 50 in the US (I’ve never actually met a [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] though), so if that bothers you too much you might want to avoid the name.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marcella[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – love the matching double L’s here & the wonderful strength of the name [name_f]Marcella[/name_f]. She does have a slightly different vibe than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] – maybe a little more ancient/latin-y? But they sound great together nonetheless! Nickname options could be: [name_f]Marcy[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Cella[/name_f], [name_m]Mars[/name_m], [name_f]Mercy[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Mara[/name_f], or even [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Juliet[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – such a gorgeous choice, & I do love [name_f]Etta[/name_f] as a nickname! I think Julie/Julia is perfectly avoidable, I know a young [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and she’s always just called by her full name. I don’t think the name is too tied to [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] either. The only reason she doesn’t rank higher for me is because I do think she has a slightly more romantic / grand vibe than the grounded & friendly [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Colette[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] – a lovely name, but just doesn’t have that same sparkle as the others on your list. She also feels a little more Parisian-chic, so I don’t love her vibe with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. I do pronounce it with an emphasis on the first syllable (COL-ett).

[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]A few extra suggestions for you (girls):[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Marceline[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Harriet[/name_f] / [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]“just” [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leona[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] / [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Georgette[/name_f] / [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] / [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]Boys (ranked in order of preference):[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – this is absolute perfection with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], I love their look & their feel! [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is such a versatile name: he can be distinguished & literary but also grounded & outdoorsy. For nicknames, a few options could be [name_m]Gus[/name_m], [name_m]Kit[/name_m], or [name_m]Ace[/name_m]!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] & [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] are wonderful together style-wise, and despite Nathaniel’s higher popularity, he still ranks outside of the top 100 so I wouldn’t worry too much about that aspect. I adore Nathaniel’s friendly & rugged feel with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], & the nicknames [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], [name_f]Nell[/name_f], & [name_m]Thaniel[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Warren[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – absolutely loving the matching double letters & the down-to-earth sound of [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] & [name_m]Warren[/name_m] together. I wouldn’t say they’re too similar at all!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Felix[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – this is such a dashing name, & I love his bubbly sound and great meaning. I think the only reason the look of the names is bothering you is the lengths of the names – but they’re only one syllable apart so I wouldn’t worry about it. These two sound so handsome together.
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]August[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – [name_m]August[/name_m] is a great option! He does feel a little softer than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], but I love the nicknames [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] & [name_m]Gus[/name_m] and I think it’s totally usable. There’s always August’s variations as well: [name_m]Augustine[/name_m], or [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], but those might be too grand?
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Cooper[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – definitely a little too popular for me personally, as he is just on the cusp of the top 50 in the US, so if that bothers you I’d stay away from it. Cute name though!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Lennox[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] – I do like [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] in general, and the nickname [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] is adorable, but he doesn’t feel right with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] for some reason. Maybe just a little too modern? As for the computer association, I have no idea what that is :joy:

Good luck on your IUI. These are my top three from each list with why:

[name_f][/name_f]

Girls:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Honestly, I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are perfect sibling names. They have the same bounce and cheeriness. For [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] my top nicknames would be [name_f]Fey[/name_f] and City, or maybe [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] from the meaning?

    [name_f][/name_f]
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- The way the l sounds echo each other in this pair is so satisfying. I also love the idea of a subtle honour name and nickname options are really important. [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is somewhat popular, but she never really feels trendy to me. The biblical reference makes [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] feel ancient and established, but she doesn’t quite feel like a bible name either.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is such a sweet nickname and I love the way both these names are no frills, simple and sharp. They feel good together. Pronunciation might be an issue, but if she typically goes by [name_f]Etta[/name_f] anyway, it’s not much of a problem.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  6. [name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]

Boys:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I love [name_m]August[/name_m], think [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] is so cute. And I think both these names feel solid and masculine, but in a friendly way. [name_f]Love[/name_f], love, love!

    [name_f][/name_f]
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- They both have a sharp surname style with those double consonants and v and x sounds. I love [name_m]Knox[/name_m]. And the computers are [name_m]Linux[/name_m], which to me is a totally different sound. I can’t promise it’ll never be mistaken, but it’s not a mix up I would expect.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] is so fun and playful. It’s not a name I think of as particularly popular, but that might be different in your area. The double oo is a fun play on Sullivan’s double ll and [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] brings out the charm in [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] as well [name_f][/name_f]- both names together feel more bouncy and energetic.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  6. [name_f][/name_f]

So so happy to see appreciation for Marcella! It’s beautiful. Sullivan gives me sailor vibes and Marcella gives me darker north sea vibes so I think they could pair together. (Although, I am currently in my North Sea hyperfixation so it could be that! But you can’t deny Sully would be a perfect sailor name).

My main suggestion would be Maristella. Similar sound to Marcella, but with closer vibes to Sullivan imo. Sully and Mari :face_holding_back_tears:

@daisydarcy[name_f][/name_f] This is so so so helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to type all of this out. I’m adding many of these notes and ideas to my list I have going so I really do appreciate it.

[name_f][/name_f]

I agree with basically everything you’ve said! A few things that stood out to me…

[name_f][/name_f]

I am in the US, so your rankings all hold true for me. That’s interesting to me that [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is lower on the charts than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] I’m not sure why I find that surprising but I do.

[name_f][/name_f]

In my state specifically [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] ranks 42 in the top 100. So maybe it’s just a more common name around here. I’ve met a few Delilah’s in my son’s activities, but maybe it’s just caught my attention more than other names because it’s been a name we’ve been considering.

[name_f][/name_f]

I agree with [name_f]Marcella[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], and even [name_f]Colette[/name_f] having different vibes than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. They’ve been on my list for a while, but it feels different now pairing a name with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] instead of just a name I love on it’s own.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Love[/name_f] your girl suggestions! [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] are actually already on my list! So it’s funny you mentioned those. They’ve just fallen further down the list mostly because my husband isn’t as in love with them as I am. But your taste is spot on!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], I’m not sure why I thought it was higher in the charts. I really only know one [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] who is in his 30s. [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] is in the top 100 for my state but spot 98 so barely. [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and [name_m]Nate[/name_m] both are not. So that makes it feel more usable!

[name_f][/name_f]

I think you’re right about [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] feeling not as matching due to the different lengths. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] feels more sharp to me too with the X ending vs [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] with the N ending. But then I really like [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] together which also has the X ending. So I haven’t fully figured it out yet!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] are actually on our boys list as well! Nailed it again! I do also like [name_m]Warner[/name_m] I think that’s a fun variation going off of [name_m]Warren[/name_m].

@shorie[name_f][/name_f] Those are wonderful nickname ideas! thank you!

[name_f][/name_f]

@FreyByTheWay[name_f][/name_f] Thank you! Your top choices for girls have been the ones I keep coming back to lately so it’s funny you chose those three! I think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] both match so nicely alongside [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. So I’m glad you have the same feeling with them. How did I never know it was spelled [name_m]Linux[/name_m] and not [name_m]Lennox[/name_m]! This is a very important detail my husband left out [name_f][/name_f] Because those feel completely different when spelled that way idk.

[name_f][/name_f]

@louise.solaris[name_f][/name_f] Thank you! I think it’s such a pretty name. I’m always surprised to not see it often pop up on lists. It’s a family name but I think it fits really well with the vintage popularity right now. [name_m]Sully[/name_m] would be an excellent sailor name as well!

Firstly, best of luck on your IUI journey!

[name_f][/name_f]

Secondly, from your lists I like; [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_m]Lennox[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] & [name_m]Atticus[/name_m].

[name_f][/name_f]

Thirdly here’s some other suggestions for both genders to consider which flow well with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]:
[name_f][/name_f]Girls: [name_f]Sloane[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]Boys: [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Callahan[/name_m], [name_m]Jameson[/name_m], [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]

Best of luck on your IUI journey!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] is so handsome! [name_f][/name_f] I love so many of these options with him.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are perfect together! [name_f][/name_f] While it’s true I don’t think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] has a go-to nickname, there are plenty available! [name_f][/name_f] Cici/Cece is my favorite, and the one I would use, but I also really like [name_m]Izzy[/name_m] or Fizzy, [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], and [name_f]Fia[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Fliss[/name_f], [name_f]Flick[/name_f], or Flicka are available (though I’m not a big fan of them personally). [name_f][/name_f] I think both feel familiar but not overused so I think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is a great pairing with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m].

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] has a beautiful sound but it does feel like it has a bit of a popularity disparity with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], but not enough that it shouldn’t be used? [name_f][/name_f] Not my favorite option in general because of the Biblical namesake, but I know the name has become popular despite that, and it has lovely nn options and has such a sweet sound.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- have really grown to love this although I agree it does have different vibes from [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]? [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] feel better paired to me, but I like the novelty of [name_f]Marcella[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Mars[/name_m], [name_f]Marcy[/name_f], [name_f]Cece[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] could all work?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- nice name but I can see the hesitations with your surname… could something like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] “Heidi” or [name_f]Swanhilde[/name_f] nn [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] work a little better?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- beautiful name, and I don’t find it too [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f] I think everyone will probably think of it but it’s gotten popular enough that I now don’t assume every [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is named in honor of [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]. [name_f][/name_f] If you use [name_f]Etta[/name_f], I don’t think you’d really have a problem with [name_f]Julie[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f] Since [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are both full names in their own right, I wouldn’t expect people to go straight to [name_f]Julia[/name_f], but maybe they would? [name_f][/name_f] I would assume [name_m]Jules[/name_m] if anything, but if you use [name_f]Etta[/name_f] I would expect others to follow that.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- a beautiful and dainty feeling name! [name_f][/name_f] I like it a lot with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] It has a lot of sweet nn options too. [name_f][/name_f] I wouldn’t expect a ton of pronunciation errors but maybe at first.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is my favorite option from your girls’ list, then [name_f]Colette[/name_f], then [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Lennox[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- so cool with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I love it. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] and [name_m]Knox[/name_m] are fun too. [name_f][/name_f] I don’t think of the computers, but I do think of The [name_f]Secret[/name_f] Garden.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- feels different from [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] to me but I think they can work together. [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] more than [name_m]Felix[/name_m] myself, but it is a lovely name and I don’t think they’re so different you should avoid it as a brother to [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- super fun pairing with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], I always liked the nn [name_f]Atti[/name_f] for him, but [name_m]Kit[/name_m] and [name_m]Gus[/name_m] are cool as well?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I never got into [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], sorry, so it’s not my thing.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- love this with Sullivan; it’s a lovely pairing! [name_f][/name_f] Maybe my favorite, although I really like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] here as well.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m] are lovely together. [name_f][/name_f] I love [name_m]Auggie[/name_m], too, although I think I slightly prefer [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m].

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- weirdly I have the opposite feeling with Warren—it feels very vintage and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] very modern? [name_f][/name_f] It doesn’t feel like the best pairing to me but it could work!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is my favorite, followed by [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m] and [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] (though I love all four almost equally!).

[name_f][/name_f]

Good luck!

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] → bright and lovely [name_f][/name_f]- I think [name_f]Fliss[/name_f], [name_m]Fee[/name_m], [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], [name_f]Flick[/name_f], and City are fun nicknames!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] → bright and zippy and musical. Yes, it is more popular but it still fits well with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] → strong and elegant, but perhaps a bit more formal than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. Plus if you’re not loving [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f], it might be a no

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] → I love the playful and bright [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] H- should be okay [name_f][/name_f]- I don’t think [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] Ho is a particularly popular phrase among the younger gen anyway

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] → elegant and literary [name_f][/name_f]- I’ve met a few Juliets who’ve only used their full name. No one has called them [name_f]Julie[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- only one [name_m]Jules[/name_m], but she introduced herself as such. I also just don’t associate [name_f]Julie[/name_f] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] with children but I think that’s a me thing

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Colette[/name_f] → snappy and sharp and stylish. I’ve only ever heard people say it as cuh-let (UK) if that’s any help?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f][name_f][/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] are my faves for you

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Lennox[/name_m] → cool, outdoorsy and smart! I thought the computer thing was [name_m]Linux[/name_m]? I wouldn’t have made that link and though I say this as a non-computery person, but brother works in that industry so I do know about it

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] → cheerful and zippy. I think [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] are charming together

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] → cool and literary, familiar but unexpected. I think a lot of people will have at least heard of it. The nickname thing is tricky. I’ve seen [name_m]Kit[/name_m] suggested, but [name_f]Attie[/name_f] and [name_m]Taz[/name_m] came to mind too

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] → [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] is stylish and sweet with [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], but I don’t super love it for you

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] → elegant and strong, but gentle too. It is twice as popular but has been trending down slightly

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]August[/name_m] → I think [name_m]August[/name_m] feels totally namey! Rugged but gentle and sunny!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Warren[/name_m] → unexpected, rough-and-tumble and interesting. I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] could work but I don’t think it’s my favourite.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_m]Lennox[/name_m][name_f][/name_f], [name_m]August[/name_m][name_f][/name_f], and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

I think [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] can work with many different styles and none of the names on your list would be strange to hear alongside [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]. Siibling names often go together because you hear them as a set again and again, so I think anything you choose will feel natural over time.

From your list I like:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I love the nicknames Fizzy, [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], and Flicka for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. I don’t think it’s too popular for [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- it might be be slightly more popular than [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] but I don’t think it’s enough to be jarring
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I don’t think [name_f]Julie[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f] would be automatically used. If you’re worried it’s too closely tied to [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], you could spell it [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] which would at least visually separate it slightly
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- not too out there. I love the nickname [name_m]Kit[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- they don’t feel too similar to me
