Thoughts & Suggestions?

I’m not pregnant but I’m ALWAYS thinking about names, and nameberry has only made me obsession worse! I’d like to get some of your opinions on my favourite names, and combinations, for my future babies! I’m British/[name]Canada[/name], and the SO is Canadian with Russian/Polish heritage. I love classic names, but quirky ones too.

Favourites (they’re all kind of popular but… still my favs)
[name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Lilliana[/name] (grandmother is [name]Lillian[/name], goes by [name]Lily[/name], really, really want to name a daughter this even though [name]Lily[/name] is very popular, is [name]Lilliana[/name] too frilly?)
[name]Evelyn[/name] ([name]Evie[/name])
[name]Isobel[/name] (grandmother is [name]Isabella[/name], but I love the Scottish variant the best, especially as its a little less popular)

[name]Caroline[/name] (for my mother)
[name]Grace[/name] (popular, I know, but for the SO’s grandmother)
[name]Mae[/name] (my gr grandmother’s name was [name]May[/name])
[name]Rae[/name] (for a close friend)

I had a list of favourites for middles but I seem to have lost it, this is all I can remember. I like definite boy names and girl names.

My boys list is shorter and I’m less fussy, my favourites
[name]Gabriel[/name] (absolute favourite)

[name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Lilliana[/name] – [name]How[/name] about the French version of [name]Lilian[/name], just to stir it up a bit? (: [name]Liliane[/name] is the French version. [name]Liliana[/name]'s pretty, and I find it feminine with perhaps just the right amount of frill to it. What about [name]Lilith[/name]? (:
[name]Evelyn[/name] ([name]Evie[/name]) – I love [name]Evelyn[/name], and as I’ve said many times before, I only have on problem with it: it was originally a male name. But, if you don’t have a problem with that, then I’d go ahead. [name]Evie[/name]'s cute.
[name]Isobel[/name] – Yes! I love [name]Isobel[/name], much more beautiful than [name]Isabella[/name] (to me, no offense intended). I also love [name]Isabeau[/name], [name]Isadora[/name], etc.
[name]Juliette[/name]/[name]Juliet[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name]. [name]Juliette[/name]'s more feminine, whilst [name]Juliet[/name] seems a teensy bit stronger. [name]Love[/name] both spellings!
[name]Sophie[/name] – [name]Sophie[/name]'s really grown on me. Adorable.
[name]Chloe[/name] – [name]Chloe[/name] is very, very pretty. I also love [name]Claire[/name].

[name]Elizabeth[/name] – I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], but I prefer it for a first name. I’ll suggest some combos for it below.
[name]Freya[/name] – Same about the combos for this one. I love [name]Freya[/name]/[name]Freja[/name].
[name]Leah[/name] – [name]Leah[/name]'s nice. I’d keep it in the middle, too. (:
[name]Madeleine[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]! So much prettier than [name]Madeline[/name]. I’ll suggest combos for it below as well.
[name]Romy[/name] – I don’t like [name]Romy[/name] all too much. Same as [name]Madeleine[/name], [name]Freya[/name], and [name]Elizabeth[/name] for the combos.
[name]Luna[/name] – [name]Adore[/name] [name]Luna[/name] and [name]Lunette[/name]. Same for the combos.
[name]Mila[/name] – Same for the combos. Not a big fan.
[name]Caroline[/name] – I love [name]Caroline[/name]. Same for combos.
[name]Grace[/name] – Yes, popular and predictable. But, if it’s honoring someone, I’d say that’s better. (: Same for combos.
[name]Mae[/name] – [name]Mae[/name] is really cute when used in the right combo, I think! :3 Same for combos.
[name]Rae[/name] – I don’t like [name]Rae[/name] as much as I like, say, [name]Mae[/name], but go for it if it’s honoring someone. Same for combos.

[name]Gabriel[/name] – [name]Gabriel[/name] is very handsome. (:
[name]Frederick[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Frederick[/name].
[name]Elliot[/name] – I like [name]Elliot[/name].
[name]Rhys[/name] – [name]Rhys[/name] is all right.
[name]Rory[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Rory[/name] whatsoever, but that’s just me. (:
[name]Rufus[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Rufus[/name].
[name]Lewis[/name] – [name]Lewis[/name] is okay, but I prefer the French [name]Louis[/name] (Loo-ee).
[name]Eli[/name] – [name]Eli[/name]'s all right.
[name]Finn[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Finn[/name] too much.
[name]Owen[/name] – Same as [name]Finn[/name].
[name]Noah[/name] – I don’t like [name]Noah[/name] all that much.
[name]Lachlan[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Lachlan[/name].
[name]Jude[/name] – [name]Jude[/name]'s all right.
[name]Milo[/name] – [name]Milo[/name]'s okay, too.
[name]Calum[/name] – I don’t like [name]Calum[/name].
[name]James[/name] – Sadly (xD) I like this.

[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Freya[/name]/[name]Freja[/name] [name]Marie[/name] (switching it around xD)
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]/[name]Elisabeta[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Aurore[/name]/[name]Aurore[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]James[/name]/[name]James[/name] [name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Miriam[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]/[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]/[name]Mary[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Liliana[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Lucius[/name]
[name]Charles[/name] [name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Rae[/name] [name]Ezekiel[/name] (the ‘E’s’ sort of connect, though.)
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]

The combos aren’t too outstanding, but I hope you like some. (:

I REALLY love the name [name]Liliane[/name], but I’m afraid people may just think it’s a creative spelling of [name]Lillian[/name]. I also really don’t like any [name]Lillian[/name] form with one L in the middle for some reason. Would [name]Lillianne[/name] or Lilliane work? Or are those really just creative spellings? I actually think I prefer the sound of [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Anne[/name] to [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Anna[/name], less frilly but still really pretty.

I would normally have a problem with a name that was originally male but not with [name]Evelyn[/name] for some reason! It is SO feminine and lovely, that it seems absurd that it would be a male name!

I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] as a first, but as it’s my first name, I don’t think I’d use it for a daughter’s first, I’m not a huge fan of parents and children sharing the same name, that’s why it’s there for a middle. If it wasn’t my first name I’d use it in a heartbeat though!

[name]Freya[/name] [name]Marie[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this because it honours my sister, and my best friend, but it almost seems too familiar because of this. Such a lovely combo though.
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]James[/name]/[name]James[/name] [name]Frederick[/name] - [name]Love[/name], so classic and handsome
[name]Lilliana[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - one of my top combos for sure

[name]Love[/name] this sib-set. It’s actually so close to my favourite sib-set right now:

[name]Lilliana[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Lilliana[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Freya[/name] or [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Isobel[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name] [name]Rhys[/name] (I love [name]Rhys[/name] as a first but feel like it’s too short with the other three names, but I’m also worried it’s not as classic as the others?)
