Thoughts?

I am almost 100% set on the name [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m].

My problem is I can’t decide on a nickname.

I’m not a big fan of [name_u]Theo[/name_u], but I love the idea of shortening it to [name_u]Teddy[/name_u].

Thoughts on the nickname [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]??

I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], I actually know someone who is just [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]. I think it’s a very cute and cuddly (nick)name that ages well.

Love it! :two_hearts: I’m so glad you found the perfect name!

Theodore [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is wonderful and I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]!

I LOVE [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]! I much prefer it to [name_u]Theo[/name_u], and I think it’s one of those nicknames that if you use it, others will too

Teddy is cute. There’s also [name_m]Ned[/name_m].

I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]! So sweet and friendly.

Love it

I know a [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] called [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] pretty exclusively! It works well on him as a young teenager too. I think [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is a really cute name and definitely works!!

I prefer [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and [name_m]Ted[/name_m] to [name_u]Theo[/name_u]! [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is a cute nn, but it’s so trendy right now.

Wonderful choice! It’s classic and cool, with great nickname potential. [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is very sweet but I’d just be aware that he might well choose to go by [name_u]Theo[/name_u] at some point, since it’s such a natural nickname. Would that bother you?

Love it! Teddy is what I will call my Theodore, should I ever have one (fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t2:). I’m also not a big fan of Theo (although he could of course choose to go by Theo at some point in his life). Theodore Isaac is so handsome!

Hi there.

Teddy is darling. I like it slightly more than [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. And I think that if you call him strictly [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], you could avoid getting [name_u]Theo[/name_u] too often. If you call him strictly [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], you may get [name_u]Theo[/name_u] whether you want to or not. I also like the nn [name_m]Thatch[/name_m] for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], if you want something a little more unique.

Hope this helps.

I loooove the nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]

Theodore [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is a great name and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is such a cute nickname. [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] can also become [name_m]Ted[/name_m] later if he feels that [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] comes too cute for him.

Teddy works fine for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]!
A more unique option would be [name_m]Thor[/name_m].

I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]! I think I might prefer it over [name_u]Theo[/name_u], but they’re pretty much even for me. I’ve heard people say that Teddys always shorten it to [name_m]Ted[/name_m] (I’m personally not a fan) when they get older, but I don’t think that’s necessarily true. I know a mid-twenties [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and I don’t see him going by [name_m]Ted[/name_m] any time soon.

Theodore [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is lovely! [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is very cute; you can always see if nicknames pop up naturally as well!

Bear! Like [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] :bear:
Maybe [name_m]Tod[/name_m], T or TI?
