Lately, I’ve really been thinking of the idea of having three daughters! These girls to me are undeniably playful and family-oriented, cheeky smiles, paint-covered hands, brightly colored mismatched clothes, playing in muddy puddles while wearing yellow rain boots that are too big, chasing after kites in the sky, purple plastic purses that play music and carry shiny coins and glittery glasses, sunny dresses and cheesy grins, comfy jumpers and outfits with seven pockets, hand-me-down crocheted sweaters and baby bonnets, corduroy bears missing a button on their shoulder strap, and baby blankets that they drag around everywhere they go, oftentimes forgetting them in the car or store when they get too excited to go to the playground or to eat sugary snacks.
If I had these three girls to name today, I’d go with:
Vision Kate “Vis”
Favor Elouise “Fizzy”
Meritt Rosalie “Merry”
My question to you all is, if you had three daughters today, what would you name them? Feel free to use your favorites or go based on the description! Have a great day!
@may.rose Aw, thank you, M! I love this set! [name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Sunny[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosy[/name_f] are the sweetest together
@Greyblue Thank you! They’ve been floating around in the back of my mind as sisters for so long, and have finally made it to the top of my list in the last few days!
I’ve had three girls on the brain lately too. The vibe you decribed perfectly matches an old set of mine so today I’ll go with that:
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], and [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]
Ahh, thank you! I’ve recently fallen in love with her after seeing her enter the top 1000 names in the US this year! I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] so much (and would likely use this spelling in the first spot), but I unfortunately can’t use it as someone close to me already has…I feel like [name_f]Elouise[/name_f] is my sneaky way of keeping the name
Oh my gosh, you’ve sold me on [name_m]Vision[/name_m] “Sissy!” I didn’t think of that, how freaking cute!! I was a little bothered that miss [name_m]Vision[/name_m] didn’t have a nickname ending in a y, but thought Vissy was too similar sounding to Fizzy (which I couldn’t give up!), so I’m so glad you shared this nickname. [name_m]Vision[/name_m] is such an older sister name to me, so I adore that [name_f]Sissy[/name_f] would represent that. I love it so much! You’ve just made these three rise even higher on my list, if that was possible!
Going with these 3 for now because I’ve been doubting my favorite, [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], for a while now. When I think of my favorites, I seem to go straight to these three. If not these three, it would probably be [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (Bella, [name_f]Addy[/name_f], and Eva).
