Wretched sleep last night left me mulling over names. I’m opening my mind to new ideas because surely this is my last pregnancy.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Diggory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] (or [name_m]Digory[/name_m], unsure which spelling I prefer, love a good literary name) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f]
Which of these three would be best suited as a potential twin to [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] [name_m]Philemon[/name_m] (boy)?
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f] I think all 3 go well with [name_f]Sydney[/name_f], though
I can’t decide between [name_m]Diggory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] or [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] but right now I’m leaning toward [name_m]Douglas[/name_m]
[name_m]Diggory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is my favorite – he has the same unexpected & handsome charm of [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] [name_m]Philemon[/name_m]!
[name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] would be my pick – [name_m]Douglas[/name_m], handsome and a similar style to [name_f]Sydney[/name_f], while [name_m]Evander[/name_m] is the best middle name match for [name_m]Philemon[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Diggory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is charming and off-beat but I’m finding [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] and [name_m]Diggory[/name_m] a little too similar with the pattern of vowel sounds.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] doesn’t quite fit the vintage or old-world charm of [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] [name_m]Philemon[/name_m].
I think [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] is the best match for [name_m]Sydney[/name_m] - they both feel handsome and romantic. I think any of them could work though! My only issue with [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] is nickname [name_m]Doug[/name_m], I’m not sure it works for a little boy - but I probably wouldn’t mind it once I had an actual little boy to associate it with.
I think [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] goes best with [name_f]Sydney[/name_f]. (I will never not think of [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] [name_m]Diggory[/name_m] lol)
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is cool but elegant, stylish but solid [name_f][/name_f]- I like [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] and [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] together
[name_f]Sydney[/name_f] and [name_m]Diggory[/name_m] are the best match IMO. Both bouncy surnames with a studious feel. [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] has history as a female name, so in that way [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] and [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] could be suited as a pair of unisex names. I’m just not sure how many people actually know [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] was ever unisex.
[name_m]Oh[/name_m] I loooove [name_m]Digory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m]! He’s got the energy of curling up with a book under a blanket with a cup of tea [name_f][/name_f] however, with [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] [name_m]Philemon[/name_m] I would choose [name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] for sure. They are both magical, stately, romantic, antique-y combos.
I still love [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] [name_m]Philemon[/name_m] (be still, my beating heart!), but [name_m]Diggory[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is so ridiculously fun. [name_f][/name_f] I would love to meet a [name_m]Digory[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I love him with [name_f]Sydney[/name_f] too.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Douglas[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] isn’t really my thing, but I do also love [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m]!
