We are down to the last couple weeks and have narrowed down our list. We are not sure if the baby is a boy or girl, so we have a couple for each. Our last name is Irish (O’).
For girls (mn probably [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but we are open to suggestions):

[name_f]Love[/name_f] all those boys names! I would go with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] (no nickname) or [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]. I do love [name_u]Micah[/name_u] as well though. I like [name_f]Calla[/name_f] best from your girls list.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a pretty combo, but I don’t care for the name [name_f]Leila[/name_f] by itself. [name_f]Leila[/name_f]-[name_f]Grace[/name_f] perhaps? [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is distinguished, I’d pick that one for a boy. It’s your baby, however, and you’ll probably know the instant he/she enters the world (and your line of vision) which moniker is perfect. (:
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. For a little Irish girl I always picture [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Merida[/name_f], but your choices are sweet, as well.

1 [name_f]Calla[/name_f]/[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - [name_f]Calla[/name_f] sounds kind of “Irish” and as long as your last name isn’t heavy on the l’s (eg. [name_f]Calla[/name_f] O’[name_f]Malley[/name_f]) it would be fine. [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Emmet[/name_u] was an Irish hero and martyr so I like this name with an Irish surname.
2 [name_f]Maren[/name_f]/[name_u]Micah[/name_u] - [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is soft and pretty. [name_u]Micah[/name_u] is a wonderful alternative to the overused [name_m]Michael[/name_m].
3 [name_f]Leila[/name_f]/[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] - I love [name_f]Leila[/name_f] but I’m not feeling it with an Irish surname. I don’t like the flow of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] O’.

Ilike [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_f]Calla[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is a classic and one of my favorites and [name_f]Calla[/name_f] stands out as a lovely, fresh, underused choice, especially since two syllable girls names starting in l like [name_f]Leila[/name_f] and all of her spellings are a bit of a trend ([name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f] and even [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is getting more attention now).
