Tips for dealing with gestational diabetes?

Any favorite meals or snacks to suggest (that meet dietary suggestions)?

I had gestational diabetes with my first, which I was able to manage through diet, so I’ve done this before, but since I had a history, they tested sooner, and (surprise, surprise) I have it again. I’m at 15 weeks, so I just started feeling better from the morning sickness/nausea/bloating, and now I’m right into dealing with a whole other level of food/drink issue. [name_m]Just[/name_m] feeling a bit discouraged and frustrated, so was hoping for some ideas/suggestions! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My mom also suffered from gestational diabetes, and she was very nauseous during the entirety of her pregnancy. She ate eggs and peas in abundance during this time.
