I personally think [name_m]Toby[/name_m] is too nickname-sounding to work as a legal given name.

Love!! I’m friends with a Toby (just Toby, not Tobias) who’s 20 and he wears it just fine, so it’s definitely wearable on an adult. It has a really sweet, bubbly & cozy vibe to me :yellow_heart:

Totally usable on its own! I personally don’t really care for the sounds (just sort of…heavy?), but I think some of that might be due to lack of exposure since I’ve never met one.

I’ve known numerous just Tobys

I think [name_m]Toby[/name_m] could work just by itself! Most of the Tobias’ I know always go by [name_m]Toby[/name_m]. So I don’t see why it can’t just be a full name in itself.

I actually know more just Toby’s than [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] I think the name works just fine such a handsome sweet name. :teddy_bear:

I know more Tobys (stand-alone) than Tobiases too. They get [name_m]Toby[/name_m] & Tobes for short (lol). If it really bothers you, [name_m]Tobin[/name_m] (nn Toby) is another good, longer option.
