My last name is Barth and I really like the name [name_m]Abel[/name_m]. Is [name_m]Abel[/name_m] Barth too hard to say together? I don’t want my son stuck with a tongue twister of a name for the rest of his life.
No…not a tongue twister. A longer name would be better if you want a ‘B’ in there ([name_m]Abraham[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], Abendigo?), but [name_m]Abel[/name_m] B@rth is alright.
I wouldn’t call it a tongue twister but it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue smoothly.
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] is fantastic but you seem to be concerned with the flow. So, I’d like to suggest [name_m]Abram[/name_m] and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] as similar sounding alternatives.
[name_m]Abram[/name_m] Barth rolls of the tongue smoother.
Or maybe put [name_m]Abel[/name_m] in the middle?
[name_u]Tyson[/name_u] [name_m]Abel[/name_m] Barth? [not suggestion [name_u]Tyson[/name_u], just typed it first.]
I find it a bit awkward to say. Was also going to suggest [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. Funny, there was someone on here asking the exact same question for [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] Barch!!
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] Barth isn’t really a tongue twister, but it runs together sounding like one, very strange, long name. I do love [name_m]Abel[/name_m] though. I second the suggestion of [name_m]Abram[/name_m] or [name_m]Abraham[/name_m].
Maybe give him a double barreled name so you can call him [name_m]Abel[/name_m] but on paper his name would be [name_m]Abel[/name_m]-[name_m]Peter[/name_m] Barth (or whatever other name you like)
