[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies! We’re considering [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] for baby #4, but we’re concerned it may be too close to my sister’s name, [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. Any thoughts?
I don’t think [name_f]Serena[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] are too close for an aunt and niece. If they were siblings then maybe, but definitely not in this case. If you love [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] go for it! It’s a gorgeous name!

If they were siblings, it’d be way too close. For an auntie and a niece, it’s close, but I would still use it.
I don’t think they’re too close (but then again, I have two aunts on my mother’s side both named [name_f]Sherry[/name_f], so my judgement might be a little skewed). [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is great name, and if you end up thinking they are too close you could always use nicknames ([name_f]Fifi[/name_f] or [name_f]Sera[/name_f])
