Too "familiar"?

Thinking about naming my second child [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I have a first cousin named [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - is this too similar? [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a family name.

That’s fine.

I also think it’s fine.

Totally fine.

If you just look at the first names, [name_f]Leah[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] are definitely different enough that I wouldn’t worry. And if [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a family name, it’s basically expected to be used multiple times by family! And it’s way better than having a matching first name. Most people will know her as [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I don’t know any of my parents cousins hardly, and definitely none of their middle names. It’s NBD!

Definitely fine! My two nieces have very, very similar names and it’s not an issue for anyone (anymore…the elder niece was a little miffed that her baby cousin had such a similar name, but then again, she was the only grandkid there for awhile, so yeah…lol)

I think that it’s fine.

my daughter’s Hebrew name is [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. I think it’s fine too.

[name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f] are two completely different names. I think there is nothing wrong with it.
