The name we like best starts with R and is one syllable…our last name is three syllables with the second syllable having the sound of the word “raw”…the emphasis is on the second syllable.
I know I am being vague, but we are trying to keep the name a secret…
Can you tell from this small amount of info if there are too many R’s? Is it going to sound funny?
Without knowing the specific names, it’s hard to tell how well they flow. But, just using an example, say, [name_m]Ross[/name_m] Marauder, that sounds fine to me. If you’re happy with how your chosen name sounds with your last name, then go for it! x
It sounds like it would be fine… [name_m]Even[/name_m] in the example above ([name_m]Ross[/name_m] Marauder) where both names have the ‘raw’ sound, it sounds fine. And if the first name were [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] or [name_u]Reid[/name_u], where the vowel same isn’t even the same, it’s no question.
I agree it sounds fine. The example in my head ([name_u]Rain[/name_u] Cherawski or [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] Cherawski, haha) sounds utterly fine to me, and I think even something like Roos Cherawski/[name_m]Ross[/name_m] Marauder is fine, honestly.
