Too rhymey?

Would you find it weird to have a Samuel and Daniel in the same set of siblings? Samuel goes by Sammy as almost exclusively and the Daniel we would presumably call Daniel … But I know that could change . There are other siblings in the family as well so it isn’t just those two, and they are far apart in age with siblings in between so won’t be in school together

I think being farther apart in age/grade really helps the similar sounding names not work against either child in school. If you and your partner feel like [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] is the right name for your baby, I say go for it!

I think they work, since there are other siblings in the mix, and the first syllable sounds are so different! Especially with your [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] going by [name_u]Sammy[/name_u].

Yes, sadly. I have a [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] and loved the name [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]!

No totally fine.

I think its fine

If there’s a bigger age gap, and [name_u]Sammy[/name_u] is the name used day-to-day, it would probably be okay. (I’ve known sets like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_u]Jonah[/name_u], [name_m]Timmy[/name_m] and Tommy) Would I do it myself? probably not, but I think you could if you wanted
