I love the names [name_u]Ray[/name_u] (for a boy) and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] (for girls), but I’m wondering if they sound too similar. They both have that long A sound in them and I can’t decide whether or not it’s too much if they were together.
[name_u]Ray[/name_u], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] could work together. I think they have enogih different sounds they dont merge too much
Personally I wouldn’t use [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] together because they’re pretty similar, but they’re not unusable. I really like [name_u]Ray[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] together.
I personally don’t see any similarities in those names, apart from [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] both ending in -ie. They are fine together.
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and Masie have a similar feel, but I wouldnt say they are too similar. I actually like sibling sets where they share distinct letters. I saw someone posting about their children [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and I love the R sounds in both (also long O).
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] do have a very similar feel to them for me, but they are definitely the same style - retro and nicknamey! Personally I wouldn’t use both, but I think you could get away with it! You could also use longer names (for example [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] “[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]”) to get to those nicknames, but if you really love these names, I think they could work.
