I’m talking about names you hear on girls (children) in real life, not online. Names you feel like you know or know of multiple children with this name. If you feel comfortable, please also state the country you live in so we can see which names are popular where. Thanks!!
Mine would be:
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
(United States)
The biggest one I can think of is [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], including as a nickname for several other names like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I know so many moms with a little girl they call [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], whether that’s her official name or not.
I’m still seeing a lot of Sophies and Sophias as well.
And not a name but a name category/pattern: A lot of names ending in -lyn(n). I’ve met a [name_f]Raelynn[/name_f], [name_f]Coralyn[/name_f], [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], [name_m]Declyn[/name_m], [name_f]Joslyn[/name_f], [name_f]Emberlyn[/name_f], Acelynn…
Along with a special shout-out to hyphenated names there are tons of hyphenated names in my area. Lots of Olivia-Rose’s, Isla-Rose’s, Mia-Rose’s, Lily-Rose, Peyton-Rose’s numerous different names containing [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!
