Elijah - I fell in love with [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] when watching The Vampire Diaries. I really love how it sounds!
August - I really like it and considered it for my top ten. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_u]August[/name_u] is a more modern month name, I consider it to be as established as [name_f]April[/name_f], [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] are for girls
Julian - It’s not really my style but it does sound nice and I don’t think it’ll ever be considered “dated” or “old-fashioned” as it has a modern sound to it
Noah - I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u]! It’s so sweet! I just wish it wasn’t as popular as it is because I don’t want my future [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (if he ever exists) to one of many in his class
Grayson - Another name I considered for my top ten. I like it and I prefer this spelling as it seems more “namey” to me, whereas [name_u]Greyson[/name_u] just makes me think of the colour grey
My list:
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_u]Ayden[/name_u]
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
Lorcan - I like this name a lot! It reminds me of Medieval Times for some reason.
[name_u]Blake[/name_u] - This name is super cool too. A unisex name that is better for boys imo. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite of the bunch
[name_u]Jensen[/name_u] - I knew a girl named [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] in school so I definitely think the name is more feminine than most people. Not my favorite.
[name_m]Fraser[/name_m] - [name_f]My[/name_f] cousin’s have this as a last name and so it’s hard for me to see as a real name.
[name_m]Brody[/name_m] - Unfortunately makes me think of a frat guy for some reason.
James
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m]
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u]
[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
James - One of my favorites of all time and its my sons name so of course I am a little bit biased but it is a classic and will never get old imo
Jonas - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this as well, more modern take on [name_u]James[/name_u] but still as handsome!
Wilder - I didn’t used to like this name but its really grown on me. Would only really use as a middle name but still lovely name.
Dean - LOVE THIS! So handsome and classic. Reminds me of [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]. Definitely would use this if DH hadn’t vetoed it
Calvin - Not my favorite as it reminds me of the underwear brand [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] Klein. It’s a nice name but I wouldn’t personally use it.
[name_u]Sacha[/name_u] - I like this name a lot, although it reminds me of [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] [name_m]Baron[/name_m] [name_u]Cohen[/name_u]. I don’t know how wearable it is outside of certain countries and communities.
[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] - I like the historical and literary ties however, I’m not a fan of [name_f]Lys[/name_f], reminds of the all the Alyssa’s and Elyssa’s I’ve known!
Tl;dr: I wouldn’t choose it myself, but I think it’s a fine name.
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] - Not my style. [name_u]Finley[/name_u], to me, seems quite on trend and feminine in comparison to your other picks, which to me feel more distinguished and boyish! Personally I prefer [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
[name_u]Gene[/name_u] - I think [name_u]Gene[/name_u] has a certain Old Hollywood charm, perhaps even a bit romantic. It won’t be long before it gains traction again with the “hipsters”.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] - Attractive in both sound and look, although I feel like it’s missing something. Personally, I’d use [name_u]Asa[/name_u] as middle name.
[name_u]Sacha[/name_u] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] are my favorites
